Very poor service. They said I "missed" the list this year. Several years ago I had a similar problem. No turkey for me AGAIN this year.

Great people to help if your in need of food

To Whom It May Concern,
I myself luckily do not need the Food Bank, but I hear all over the province, that the people that have the need of the food bank are happy that there is one in their community. However, the people from Louisbourg that use the food bank in town, are very disappointed with "their" food bank.
One of the bigger problems is that most of their food what they get from the bank, is many years outdated, as many as 5 years over the expiry date. It is always a struggle to get the food what is available for the people in need. The Food Bank, is not open on the day that it should be open. I don't know who runs the food bank in Louisbourg, but I have heard negative comments from at least 10 people in this town. There seams to be no management or rules for the people who volunteer there.. Also more people like to volunteer there, but the people who look after the food, allow no other helpers there. Is there anything to hide there. I will really appreciate it, and all the people that have a need for the food bank, that you will look into the organisation about this matter. People are afraid that when they complain, they wouldn't get anything there any more. Thank you.
