Went there because we were camping and fishing..got a hook in the hand. They saw us right away..asked about the fish. Staff were friendly. Its a small tiny hospital but they gave the best care.

Husband arrived at ED at 11:15 this morning because he had fallen and hurt his arm to shoulder. He is 69, so it needed to be checked. It's now 3:45 and he's just heading for an X-ray. There was one person in the waiting room this morning. When I spoke to him at 1:15, it was full. This is not what I expected from this hospital. I was led to believe they had efficient and quick response times. I'm very disappointed!

so i was at emergency this past week, on Jan. 25th/2023, and i was very disappointed on how i was in emergency for over 7hrs, it had to do with on how there was 4 ambulances that arrived at the hospital when i was there, so that takes away from people who are in the waiting room waiting to be seen by a doctor, i think the Dunnville hospital needs to start expanding more wings into the hospital, and it is easy for them to do, if the township will end up doing the work, the seniors apartment building that is right next to hospital, build another seniors apartment building somewhere else in Dunnville, and then the hospital can add more wings onto the building itself.

now this is not the 1st time i had to wait a very long hrs to get seen by a doctor, over a year ago when i was in the emergency, an ambulance arrived with a child, now they hospital staff had to "stabilize the child" before sending her away to another a hospital, which i did find out that day that they do not have a helicopter had on the roof, cause if they did, they would of used that instead for the child, instead of making her take the ambulance again to go to another hospital to get treated, cause they could not do enough for her.

so if the township of Dunnville somehow knows on how to expand the hospital, and if the expansion ends up happening, the hospital would not be so under staffed when there is a rush in the hospital, i can see more and more why people are starting to being food in with them in the emergency waiting room, cause of how bad the hospital is under staffed, they really need an expansion done to the hospital, instead of the hospital been so small
