I came here to watch a Cedar Ceremony. I watched the indigenous people of BC bless a Totem pole. What a beautiful day. The people here care and are helpful. Good people helping and supporting other good people.

This business allows people to stand out side and disturb the entire neighborhood every single day. The families in the heritage houses are constantly dealing with VERY loud drumming and screaming that goes on daily. Our kids can't nap and we are unable to live in peace. It is worse than having a construction site next door and this business allows and condones this behavior. Shame on them for no consideration of the neighborhood!

Been staying here for many months now to regain my strength and overall health back to regaining my confidence and ability (and hoping to contribute to society again...fingers crossed). It’s been a long journey for me having to go thru with probably every possible checkups and endless of em 😕 Had “code blue” one time last year when I was at St Pauls Hospital and didn’t even notice as I remember in my private room as I sat on the toilet seat my head went down and I completely was gone and saw white light, when I woke up next thing I knew I was in ICU (I looked terrible) I asked the nurses as to what has happened. I guess there must be a reason I died and came back again. 😐. Anyways...I had spent most of my time being nurtured at Dr Peter Centre. All the staff are friendly...not just friendly but kind, caring, compassionate and some understanding (you know who you are 🙂👍♥️). Alejandro is one of em (he saw me trip over a concrete barricade and lost my balance when I was having issues with walking and loosing balance and landed on my back butt first and then head. He soon approached me asking me if I’m alright as I resulted with a soar butt). Anyways, enough said. Consider yourself lucky if you are accepted and living and taken care of from all the staff (especially the nurses) and don’t swear or cuss at them no matter what. They should not have to go through the many rudeness and disrespectful. Show some respect and thank them instead and they will not hesitate to help you at all. Bad behaviours are not welcome (in my books anyway...) treat others the way you want to be treated. If you can’t do that...well then, I wish you well.

Where your 💖 heart will find the ultimate calm and acceptance to feel whole again. Unfortunately the Dr. Peter center is only available for participant's.

However I think the system will become the standard for future health facilities.

I believe the future of health care. Will be reborn. The Dr. Peter Centre will become an international new standard for cost effective health and wellbeing.
Here I am again back at The Dr Peter Centre for a respite. Wow has the Peter Centre ever evolved since my last stay in 2014.
Dr Martin, the nurse and cleaning staff are like honey bees. They come and they pollinate our spirits with gratitude. How wholesome can a place get? I have end stage liver disease and I hope to get a transplant. While I am here to put about 29lbs.
From the bottom of my heart My hat is off to everyone here. I am so proud to be a part of our family here.

The staff are some of the most caring, compassion, non-judgmental and patience people I've ever met in my life. The building is very bright and modern yet friendly, state of the art facility that contains both a day program and long term care residence.

No problems to much , no challenge un met..and if I do say so ...the gardens on the main deck are stunning.....

My time at Dr Peters Center has been a mixed experience sadly mostly bad but they did help me out right after getting out of the hospital. I will start out sayen they do have some awesome people working at the center. Hopefully, you will never have to deal with the upper management it has been my experience the ones I had the misfortune of dealing with are Poverty Pimps. They will tell you anything they think you need to hear at the time but mean no of it when it comes to the actual practice of doing things. Let me explain I had the manager complete my disability application for me. They claimed to have years of experience filling out government forms and she has 100% success rate with disability. So away we go now this manager is so bad at her job she submitted my application with no contact phone number for the Ministry to call me at if they had any questions or concerns. After a month of waiting I called them to find out what was going on and they informed me they had no contact number for me and yes they do have questions. So I wasted a month so far. Next she did not even allow me to review the application before she sent it in to the Ministry she just used an old signatory page from a old document and used that to try to claim that I had agreed to what was in the application. An application that I have never seen before and had my phone number would not have been left out. Like I said it is hit and miss with this place. But they will keep getting buckets of money and they will only ever give subpar service to the people they are paid to help instead of only helping themselves out with the money that is supposed to be used to help people with HIV. Personally, I have renamed it Dr Peters Poverty Pimps UPDATE, so I had a meeting with the E.D. and his second in charge. The outcome of the meeting is I can't use the services of Dr. Peters Center because I decided to stand up and speak out about the way I have been treated by their upper management. I have also informed Vancouver Coastal Health about the latest developments I have also been told to report denial of services to the human rights tribunal I will do that Mon.
