While I fully support the mission of the Gleamers - in fact my family has supported them for years - & many of the staff there are lovely, my recent experience with Lisa was far from stellar & certainly not exemplary of their mission statement about treating people "with dignity & respect". The van's provide a phone number to call for Gleaners 2, as did an incredibly helpful staff member. After several weeks of leaving messages at that number, I finally left a message at the main number, having received Zero response. I was informed that the information was "incorrect", & in the resulting conversation with Lisa, she was rude & condescending. I still support the community work of the Gleaners, albeit from afar now, but the people representing themself as in charge (yes you Lisa), while disparaging a staff member who shows far superior people skills, may need to start checking their attitude at the door.

Gleaners is the best! Recently went there and got two dress shirts two pairs of shorts and a pair of cargo pants and then bought my 2 year old daughter 4 pairs of shorts and 3 shirts a hat and a pair of shoes I ended up paying 10.50$ for all that! Nothing has prices on it but there was no mistake the lady behind the till is as sharp as a tack and rang it all through at the prices they sell the stuff for. I will happily come back to get some quality clothing. Thanks to all the volunteers that make this one of the last true thrift stores.

Very busy with customers any time we stop there. Took my sister from Ottawa shopping at Gleaners. . . Her response was that this IS the best used store she's ever found. Prices are reasonable and with that comes a lot of turnover of goods. Well supported with contributions from the local community.

We were major supporters of gleaners until we heard they were spreading rumors about one volunteer WE SENT THEIR WAY! I dont like giving bad reviews, but... Abusing someone's good nature and overworking to the point of sheer exhaustion, when this person couldn't help anymore they began spreading rumors about them. In a town this small you can bet you have made your true nature known to many of us, and many of us are sickened by whats been said. We stand behind our friend and you can bet, we will never help Gleaners again.

Gleaners is creston's best second hand store. Open Tues and Fridays from 9 to 4, and Thursdays from 4 to 7 pm, the best deals are found here. I live that gleaners as a second hand store supports the gleaners food bank, therefore being self funded and giving back to the community. Don't miss out on this gem of a store... I dare you to walk away empty handed!

Volunteers who SUPPORT their town. Always giving people. The community (includes regular shoppers from Bonners) truly owes them MUCH! I'd be betting you'll not find a better deal ANYWHERE!
