The vets and techs are knowledgeable and compassionate, and my dog is always excited to go in to see all of his adoring fans.

I always leave feeling like I was part of a conversation about my pet's health rather than being lectured to, and I incredibly appreciate the time they are willing to spend to make sure you're comfortable and informed about a treatment plan or course of action.

My St Bernard didn't want to go on the scale, but thankfully the staff are total pros and we managed to get this puppy up and onto the scale without traumatizing the poor girl. They offered tips and suggestions to help get her used to going to the vet - she is still just young- and were very helpful with everything

We took our dog, Darby, a Border Collie, to Courtenay Veterinary Clinic for a spay operation. Dr. Candace preformed the operation. Darby went through it like a trooper and after 2 weeks, we have our little ball of energy back. I have to say everyone there was a delight to work with. The staff was courteous and polite. I went to Dr. Candace based on a recommendation and met her just briefly as she was very busy that day. I not only went to this clinic based upon a recommendation, their pricing is far better than the clinic we left. I hope to continue with Courtenay Vet Clinic in the future. Darby said she would go back for a visit!

This is one of the few clinics left that are privately owned. The level of care and commitment to all creatures great and small is abundantly obvious. I have been coming to this clinic for years and will continue to do so although I live 3 hours away. The drive is worth the care.
