I spoke with one of the agents, in the Halifax office, for auto insurance. Her name was Julie. She was friendly enough but completely useless. Out of all the quotes I got from other provider's her's was the worst. Most expensive. Ridiculous. The worst part is I had to waste two hours in the office. That time could have been better spent talking to someone else who had a reasonable quote. I would steer clear of the cooperative's if you have even a slight blemish on your driving record. I'm going to do a podcast of my adventures through the auto insurance world. I know there are other people out there being screwed over, maybe if we organized to resist, these big companies wouldn't steam roll over us. Stay tuned.

They stole money from me for months. I had a tenant insurance policy with them and when I moved and asked to have the new address replace the former address they never actually removed the former. They created a second policy and I never received paperwork showing two apartments so I only ever caught it when I asked the cost of cancelling early.

Now I'm trying to fight to get they money they stole from me back. I will never use them again and have told many many people to avoid them at all costs. And the agent didn't really want to help me. Even when I escalled the call she refused to get a manager for me.

PLEASE NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER 10000000 TIMES buy the cooperators there rules changes according to customers charges a lot but 00000 service rating, after selling insurance will show attitude will take 3 months to get the claim,,,,
do not fall into trap, will not cooperate with customers , who will buy insurance from them will suffer for sure bad experience ,,
buying insurance from them or putting money in garbage is same .will never trust nordic company and the intact insurance
