The Confederation Community Centre is right next door to the McGill branch of the Burnaby Public Library. The Centre caters not only to seniors living within the area of Burnaby Heights but invites everyone in the area.

Lots of activities are available to everyone and they are known for their Flea Market sales.

Our Burnaby North, Swimmingpool. I like it, but HATE the floors in the dressing rooms. Always slippery and full of dirt wet towel fluff and most probably fungus. Most guys stand of the benches, made to sit down. Yack. Bring a second "old towel" to first sit then stand on against the "yack". One wonders if there is not a better floor cover to put over the slippery tiles? Not enough showers with many guys guests seeming to take for ever to soap up and shower. In Asia water and shower and spa is way off life. So the elderly used to that, can stand there like ten minutes giving the impression this is their only shower of the day replacing the one from home. No offense I am married to an Asian person!

The best option for swimming and exercising in the area. The building is a beautiful place to stay and the view is great in summer. The library next to the building makes a great combination. I recommended 💯 %
