Not very helpful, I applied for a new card and after the 4th card was declined and being told there was a glitch, I was still without a card.
When they saw me coming into the bank, they tellers tried avoiding me. Not very good at troubleshooting, in fact better at creating a problem. This carried on for 2 months..

Disappointing service and inaccuracy. I ordered new checks for my wife and despite having the correct name given to the teller specifically they arrived with an incorrect name. I tried to rectify it but they would not accept the order, for my wife, unless I provided a power of attorney yet they accepted the request 2 weeks previously from me. Interesting that no apology was offered despite it being their error. Very disappointing as I’ve been a member for 40 plus years and have witnessed a deterioration in service even before the pandemic.

My family had been customers for over 20 years without issue, but events over the past year showed a severe lack of customer service standards and basic communication. They were unable to provide time estimates on when actions would be completed, did not communicate when staff would be on vacation therefore prolonging the timeframe, and when the Manager, Amit Kalsi, became involved he was very curt and did not exhibit any signs of understanding our frustration or why the actions taken by his staff were unacceptable given the sensitive nature of our requests.

Your telephone assistance is terrible especially when it mentions the service is to speed assistance. I noticed a response from some management person about experiencing unusual high volume of calls. That's nonsense. I hear that too often. Provide proper staffing and fire the geniuses that designed your answering system and you may find you'll gain or retain your customers. 22 minutes waiting is totally unacceptable.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. I was in town from Alberta dealing with an estate. I didn't have an appointment but Rosie at the service counter spoke with Gurpreet (he handles estates and investments) and together they managed to fit me in. It was very refreshing dealing with knowledgeable and empathetic people who cared more about me as a person, than focusing on generating revenue. Kudos to this Credit Union. There isn't a Coast Capital in Alberta, if there was, I would dump my bank and go with them. In fact, I will be looking at Servus Credit Union in Alberta and still dump my bank. The only downside to this location is the parking lot. It's so busy and access is limited to one entrance/exit. Thank you for your assistance.

Impressively slow service. Can't remember waiting 20 minutes at a bank to see a teller anytime is recent memory. Perhaps understaffed when most of the tellers are doing other work and unable to help members in line.
