My grandmother recently moved into long-term care at Crescent Gardens, and from day one, I’ve been impressed. The rooms are large and clean, and there are lots of activities that my grandma loves to attend. Most importantly, the staff here are simply amazing! I can't say enough good things about the wonderful team at Crescent Gardens. The care aides and nurses are all so friendly and helpful—they’ve truly gone above and beyond to make my grandma feel valued and ensure her comfort.

Despite some initial concerns about leaving her old apartment, my grandma was immediately happy here. She constantly tells us how kind everyone is and what an incredible place it is. I feel so relieved knowing that my 97-year-old grandma is receiving the best care.

My dear friend moved into Crescent Gardens years ago and had been living in independent/assisted living at Crescent Gardens until her recent passing. She was a dear friend of mine, and I was her health rep, so I had to work closely with the CG health care team to monitor her declining health. The team was dedicated and passionate about the residents' well-being and safety. I would like to give special thanks to Health Care/Wellbeing Manager Christine G., the caregivers, and the kitchen staff who worked diligently to meet her increasing health needs. Additionally, I would like to extend my gratitude to activity worker Richelle, front desk workers, and many others who welcomed me with smiles whenever I visited my friend.

Both my in-laws and my aunt are currently living at Chartwell’s Crescent Gardens. I can’t say enough about the staff. They are friendly, kind and very compassionate. There are lots of activities for them to participate in and it’s a warm inviting atmosphere. Very clean and well kept.

Chapter AX, White Rock wants to thank Chartwell, Crescent Gardens staff for the amazing support and generosity provided to the fundraising Spring Tea we held in their beautiful dining room on March 27th. 70 guests, all wearing pretty hats, attended an afternoon in a lovely environment, enjoyed a delicious tea menu, musical entertainment, and door prizes. The management, residents and dining room staff were helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process and event. Thanks to their generosity we met our fundraising goal that enables us to help Women reach their educational goals by awarding successful candidates Scholarships, Grants and Loans so that they can “reach for the stars”.

I first heard about Chartwell through my sister, and what struck me most was how happy she was after joining. Coming straight from a 42-year career, I noticed a genuine joy in her that she hadn't found in other places. That really stood out to me.

I moved in myself at the age of 67, and from the moment I arrived, I was impressed. Everyone was so friendly—and they even knew my name right away! That personal touch meant a lot.

Food has always been important to me, and as someone who was single and not particularly fond of cooking, I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly, the food is terrific. If there's something you want, they’ll do their best to make sure you get it. That kind of care goes a long way.

There’s also no shortage of things to do here. Whether it's movies, bridge, or a variety of games, there’s something for everyone. Just yesterday, I watched a game of bocce ball, and I’m already planning to go again next week!

One moment that really stuck with me was when I asked a staff member, “What’s the hardest part of your job?” Her response took me by surprise—she said, “You.” But then she smiled and explained that her job is to serve me, and she meant it sincerely. That mindset, that level of care and dedication, is something you can feel in every part of Chartwell Crescent Garden.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience here. It truly feels like home.

My 97 year old grandmother recently moved into #319 on the care floor. I am so impressed with the facility and team at Chartwell.Crescent Gardens.

I visit Crescent gardens everyday after work with my senior 17 year old chihuahua Cocoa. The front desk staff always greet us with a smile and personal greeting.

The facility is always spotless and clean. There are plenty of activities and trips for the tenants. The food is excellent and of highest quality.

The care floor nurses and aides are so kind, helpful and work hard. They treat my grandmother like family. On Thursday night when I arrived at 6:30pm, one of the nurses was preparing my grandmother for bed by giving her a good hygienic cleanse and then put lotion on her body. The nurse was speaking to my grandmother about my mother who passed away unexpectedly on New Years Day.

The nurse comforted my grandmother who was weeping. I cannot stress enough how my heart was filled with amazement and gratitude. If you are looking for a home for your aging loved ones, who may need a helping hand I implore you to give this community a visit or a tour.

I’m so glad that my grandmother is here. It has been three weeks since my grandmother came here after an almost 2 month hospital stay. Our family was scared of the unknown and if my grandmother would be looked after properly. Any concerns we had, have dissipated. Thank you to the team at Chartwell Crescent Gardens. You’re amazing!!

My parents lived at CG for a year and a half. My Mom was in independent living and my Dad on the Care floor. It was a great set up for them to be in the same building so they could visit easily. The staff are really wonderful, the common areas and amenity spaces are the best that I saw when we were researching places. Lots of activities and social gatherings. The residents are very friendly. Highly recommend CG.

My father resided at Chartwell Gardens Long Term Care for just over two years. Due to his circumstance we were not able to care for him at home so the decision was difficult.
Once he was placed it was only a matter of a few months and he was a much happier man. He no longer worried about falling, or having care with showering and grooming, there was always an aide that was checking in or at his call when help was required.
He changed, I could tell he felt safe.
He always introduced us to his girls (aides) and they were all very dedicated wonderful people. He made friends, and we made friends with all the staff and residents.
To leave your loved ones is difficult but the staff at Crescent Gardens made it easy, they called whenever he was not feeling well, informed the doctor if needed, and were always around to answer questions.
A very big Thank you for all that they do for our families.
