We like different kinds of food, but sometimes you just want something convenient. Chalo Tamarack has all kinds of South Asian ingredients, AND those convenient meals and snack foods. Note: when buying something that says "spicy," or "hot," it really is.

Even with the “best before” date when i opened it these sweets have mold. All three pacs of diff sweets have mold but have valid “best before” date. Dont know what to do now. Total watse of money more than 30-50 bucks

There is a lot of space, it is clean, and there is a reasonable price (perhaps with a promotional offer). The fruits and vegetables I found were fresh and they offer marinated meat in a variety of options. Excellent customer service and friendly staff!

There is only one washroom for the customers at the moment, so it would be nice if there were more!

Good place to get Asian grocery at reasonable price. They also do price match.

Above reviews given by me before 2 years with 5 stars rating. I need to rewrite it again 2 years.

Today’s I had a bad experience with Cashier at Chalo Freshco.
She denied product check of Pears and Apples we bought. The nonsense reason given by cashier is that flyer products are Made in Maxico and their products are Made in Canada.

I suggest you to just stop false advertising of Price Match.

Availability of Indian items is good, you can find almost everything here in this Chalo FreshCo. Prices are good but they need to work on their cleanliness. Once i used the restroom, it wasn’t cleaned or you can say it was blocked. Everything else if fine.

Probably the worst customer service you will ever receive. I have been going to this store for almost 2 years now and nobody talks to me. The cashier doesn't even say hi, they will talk to the supervisor or manager standing beside them which says alot about how the store is run lol
They don't offer you any assistance with anything. I like their halal section which is the only reason I continue going there for meat but for anything else I need I go to the Save on Foods down the street. They have AMAZING customer service at the Save On Foods, and they really make you feel welcome!

This store sold me dried figs that had black fungus inside of them.Please exercise caution before choosing such a low-cost item from this retailer.
