Thank you with all my heart and soul to all the women who work at the Transition House. And to all the brave and courageous survivors who are showing me that I am not alone and that you understand. Your support and guidance have been tremendous in one of the hardest times in my life. You have been heaven sent to me and in my life. I just needed to truly be ready to take 100% responsibility to no longer be a victim. I am finding my voice and authenticity more than ever with all your guidance, help and support. Like walking on eggshells. Staff is good but you have to carry your purse with you or lock everything up because there's a lot of theft from clients. But it's a safe place if you are in a domestic violent relationship.

All i got to say is the staff pick and choice i been asaulted threatened and bulleyed by the staff ..
1 can of cat food thrown at my head at a non violent facility well they sweep that under the rug and than same girl came after me and she finnally .... did something about it ...
A women threaten to stab me infront of a worker that was sweep umder the rug she got away with it
I got a block thrown at my head and retaliate and they put me out cause i didnt go tell staff so they put me on the street with my cat ..
I wasnt getting any cousoling and no help caise i jist left abusive relationship and wasnt going to the CBTH cause the staff holding there authority over our head for a place and that is abuse and allowing an underage girl smoke weed wow you tell me what your think nightmare on byng street

It's a place for battered women in mentally and physically abusive partnerships, some advice, don't take any belongings with you that you value you may not see it again ....there are several other women living in the house that have children and they cannot afford to buy the things others might, and from personal experience don't take anything there ... Your stuff will be givin away ....I got bk to my old residence and half of everything I did get bk was taken out of my suitcases clothing I bought in Halifax ....couldn't believe this is a place for abusive relationships for women n yet there suppose to help but instead only taking ....I found this very distur
