I signed up for one of the free events that they offered at Crescent Park, called Nature's Discovery Backpack which I found on Eventbrite

The overall experience was very fun. The activity was to look for specific items or animals for a scavenger hunt or various other activities on the notebooks given to us. Me and my family went on looking for nature and followed the activities. My children ended up having fun, as they were able to learn more about Wildlife at a park in Winnipeg.

My thoughts on CPAWS Manitoba are that they are educated on the species and nature of Manitoba Parks, teaching me some info about some species that I have not known. They also have lots of similar activities like the Nature's Discovery one, so you can learn a lot.

I recommend signing up for one of their activities on Eventbrite if you can since you will learn a lot about wildlife preservation and education. They even have activities for all ages.

The opportunity to spend a hot summer evening in a canoe on the water was great. We had fun and laughed a lot as we were novices and knew nothing. Watching you tube and learning what to do before we went would have given us a better experience or had we thought to take lessons?. 2 min instruction before entering the canoe was insufficient but the experience still gets a 5 star

The folks over at the CPAWS Winnipeg chapter on Corydon are awesome! They are super friendly and engaging, and they host some really cool nature events in and around the city! Absolutely worth your time checking them out for yourself!
