This tour and museum was superb! It was excellent to learn about challenges with the Americans (even as an American) and of Canadian success and cleverness in nuclear history in spite of these and other challenges. I only regret that I can't give more that fives stars. (I should admit the museum could be considered small and people uninterested in education, secure electricity, affordable electricity, ensuring clean air, heroic Canadian efforts in World War II, solving hard problems or science might be bored ... although this might be overstated as my understanding is they adjust the tour to their audience).

Great tour, and so many items! Very informative and fun coming in as a nuclear student. The staff are very kind and extremely generous! Just call beforehand to ask for a tour time.

Fantastic small museum. Currently visits are by appointment only, but can be arranged at very short notice. We called the number posted on the door and Jim Ungrin kindly came by to give us a fascinating tour of the collection and rundown on the history of the Canadian nuclear industry. Definitely worth a visit and worth supporting this project to preserve documents and artifacts around Canadian nuclear history.

In your in the area this place is a nuclear wonderland. We had the chance to spend several hours at this museum exploring the rich technical history of CANDU reactors and legacy technologies. It's truly incredible to see how so much innovation, and technological progress was able to come out from just one area. Morgan and other volunteers have put in a lot of effort to maintain this library and collection of historical artifacts. I did thoroughly enjoy my experience here and look forward to coming back to another visit with my siblings and family the near future! Please do keep up the great work

We had a guided tour from a volunteer and it was a wonderful experience. Lots of interesting accessories from Chalk River's early operations, interpretative displays, and an EXTENSIVE library full of reading material on the physics, engineering, and history of nuclear reactors. Bonus points for a little periodic table with samples of the safe/feasible-to-display elements!

A must-visit for those who enjoy museum and for Canadian history fans. Currently, entrance is free/by donation. I recommend checking the website for hours but if they aren't listed see the contact info - send an email to arrange a visit. Volunteers are generally quick to respond.

A must visit place when open. I hope this place gets a bigger and permanent house. Many artifacts and stories to be proud about being Canadian. The pioneering efforts of Canada's nuclear efforts and brilliance of Canadian Scientists who have made global nuclear electric power a possible. Also on display is the Oder of Canada medal received by (no spoilers) and a library on various interesting topics.
