Last year in August-September my baby Rupert and I were transferred from mcmaster hospital in Hamilton to Cambridge hospital to the special care nursery. I was able to stay with my son in the room the entire time. My son was born prematurely and didn't know how to feed, the nurses and doctors were very helpful friendly and made me feel super comfortable. They took the best care of my son. Writing this review because there are a lot of negative reviews and it really shines a bad light on the hospital. I really wanted to say thank you to the nurses for taking such good care of my Rupert and I hope the nursing staff sees my review and feel appreciated because I really appreciated everything they did for us at that hard time. They really did go above and beyond!❤️❤️❤️

I came to the ER with a broken wrist. I was told the wait could be 8-10 hours but I was home within 5 hours. In that time I had 2 x-rays and a temp cast put on. The doctor and the nurses were super friendly and cheerful and sympathetic, which was really nice. The whole atmosphere was good. I saw a specialty the next day there and again, super nice people.

To get from parking to main enterance was OK, once there I was confused which way to go to Sleep clinic. No one at the desk at 8 pm . I had to ask 3 times 3 differdnt sraff members for dirrections. Once there, staff was friendly and room was equipped with AC and a fan so room was comfortable.

New hospital, seemed very empty. Was seen quickly. I did not feel that my long COVID-19 was taken seriously. I have been sick for 6 months now. Dismissed and sent home even though my family Dr wanted me to check myself in.

No direction what so ever after 7pm nothing marked to find direction to where my son was needing to go lost all paperwork so had to redo everything... son cam for the sleep clinic I was given a school chair to stay for the night...very very unorganized

I went in for a scheduled csection. The surgery staff was great, the nurses here were amazing. Once moved into the maternity ward with my newborn son I had a terrible nurse who insisted I wear a face mask even while I was sleeping. So for 3 nights I had ti sleep with a face mask on my face even though I had a negative covid test before my surgery. I believe she saw on my record that 3 months previously I had covid and discriminated against me. It is terrible to force someone who just had major abdominal surgery to sleep with a face mask. I wanted to get up and walk out of there. When my mask slipped down while I was sleeping so woke me up with a raised voice saying put your mask on or I will refuse you care The day time nurses were great. They just asked that we pull up our masks when they entire the room.
