Well, this was a surprise. Who expects to find India in Agassiz This restaurant is an absolute gem. If you like Indian food, you will not be disappointed. We ordered our favourites and we were not shy about ensuring gluten free for a sensitivity. The chef came out—Tushar—appearing a little young. I was worried. Boy was I shocked. I can’t recall if I’ve ever had food this good. Each dish was just the right temperature, just the right spice and tasted like a three star Michelin restaurant. We had to tell the chef. Well, with only four years’s experience, and the head chef on a day off, he did incredible. Tell a few of your friends, but not all of them—we don’t want the chef to up and go somewhere else!! Enjoy!

I was absolutely blown away by this place. From the location to first looks, it would suggest that it would be another place that served your average Indian food to just meet your cravings. I was happy to see they offered the Mango Chicken curry, a little weary to try it as it usually is a hit or miss. I loved that it was quiet in the late afternoon. If your a fan for sweet and savory, I highly recommend trying the Mango Chicken curry paried with the coconut rice and garlic naan bread. Everything was so fresh and tasty and the serving portions matched the price, which is rare these days! I will be making this my new go to place! The server was super friendly and made sure to check in to see if things were good and met the customers needs.

We were driving back from Kelowna and made a quick stop in the quaint little town of Agassiz, right along BC Highway 7, and we’re so glad we did! We found Butter Chicken House and it turned out to be a delightful surprise.

The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the food? Just amazing. Every dish was full of flavour, made fresh, and felt like home-cooked comfort. We ordered tandoori chicken and could truly taste the love in the cooking.

If you're ever passing through, do yourself a favour and stop here. You won’t regret it!

A very fantastic restaurant. Food is awesome and very tasty. We ate a lot till we were over full. The service is also very nice. Like Gallic and herbal Nann so much either eat it by dipping in the soup or on its own.

Butter Chicken House in Agassiz is a hidden gem, rare to find an Indian restaurant in this area, and it doesn’t disappoint. The food is flavorful and authentic, with perfectly spiced curries and fresh naan. Staff is friendly, and the service is quick. A must-visit if you’re craving Indian cuisine in the Fraser Valley!

Good size portions, excellent friendly service and clean modern furnishings. We shared butter chicken (of course) prawn biryani and a mango lassi for dessert. Everything was delicious!

We went to this restaurant on our way back from Hope to Mission. The Food really authentic Indian taste. Service is really Nice. Tushar served us who is also a co owner, he did a fantastic job and really understand and deliver true service to guests. We ordered shezwan noodles, veg Biryani, potato naan bread was so good, and chilli paneer was authentic, veg Makhani was delicious...I have visited twice this place within two weeks time we will come back again to try other dishes. Highly recommended for anybody looking for true north Indian food. Thanks to chef Rajender...keep up the good work...
