Went to the meditative yoga class where a middle aged white man did a 20 minute lecture on yoga that wasn’t helpful to the meditative practice. It seemed like he googled and memorized the info right before class. Wasn’t calming or relaxing to say the least.

Such a lovely community centre, lots of great programming for all ages, affordable options and some free drop-in activities! Situated on the grand river, with a playground and rink on the property for public use.

I recently signed a family member up for one of the yoga classes provided here at the community centre. Prices has dropped so I figured why not.
There have been a few classes cancelled already. We got money back for one.
The other classes that have been attended were sometimes great, and sometimes horrible. Most classes are productive but some days the instructor just has the class laying on their mats not doing any stretches at all.
There is supposed to be a class tonight (March 19, 2024) and the centre has emailed everyone explaining they have a new instructor with only 2 classes left. AS WELL, there is no heat at the centre today. So we were told to “dress warm & bundle up” for yoga.
Yoga does not work when you are bundled up and dressed in many layers. This is a slow flow class.
Again: the instructor - I believe her name is Victoria - (Tuesdays 7-8pm) was amazing! However, the centre itself and the way it’s being run is quite shocking and disappointing for someone who paid for the services and has been let down multiple times now.
I would not be looking into these services again unless there were changes to be made.

Small community center with friendly staff. My little Girl joined and enjoyed the day camp🤗. They have limited activities but they give their 100 percent to whatever they do.

this community centre is truly exceptional. From the well maintained facilities, friendly staff and amazing programs, it creates a welcoming environment that fosters a strong sense of community. The standout feature however, is their remarkable summer camp program that offers a diverse range of activities and amazing staff and volunteers, creating unforgettable memories. Bridgeport community centre consistently delivers an enriching and enjoyable space for all members of the community.

A few friends gather now and then to play bicycle polo. We like to keep the court clean and the staff were awesome to provide us an additional garbage bin to help with this.

Great place actually it's amazing it's the only place anywhere around here the Kitchener Waterloo area that is that has an outdoor rink with boards official Nets and it's a community park the people in the area love their hockey every time I've gone I've had an amazing time I play alone there's hardly anyone ever there which is perfect for my tryouts as I'm training for Team Canada Day in Day Out May 3rd and May 5th 2018 cross my fingers hope I make it this time

Clean property and facility with great staff. The ice rink they have for the winter is top notch. Deffinately worth a visit
