I had pilonidal cyst surgery here recently, and want to start by saying I'm rlly thankful for the surgery itself. Special thanks to Dr. El Hadi for doing the procedure.

What really pissed me off tho, was how the prep was handled by the nurses. I had a lot of hair around my tailbone and butt, and they were supposed to cut/shave it off, but they barely trimmed it. On top of that, they didn't even clean off the little bit of hair they did cut. This was obv pretty BS. And because of this, I can't even properly see where my stitches end, can't tell how dirty the bottom of the incision might be, and can't even clean it properly. Cleaning it mostly results in pulling my hair. Atp, they should've js told me to shave the hair myself smh. And you might be wondering, "how did he clean the area before they surgery, with all that hair?" Well, before the surgery I was able to take a full on shower and was able to rub the area clean instead of covering it up or very cautiously cleaning it. And I'm only saying all this because when my dad had surgery for hernia, (at another hospital), not only did they cut the needed hair, they shaved his whole belly to make sure everything was clear and easy to manage. That's the kind of attention to detail I expected here lmao, especially since recovery for something like this is pretty annoying and should be hella clean like all surgeries. But nah, they ain't care at all. I'd give 2.5 stars but there's no option for that.🤦🤦🙏
