Here on Sunday at 11:40am with my son. Almost nothing is open, despite hours starting at 11am. Only thing available right now are food trucks…

Why bother posting a schedule if it’s not going to be adhered to!!

This was one of my families highlight events to attend every year. This year was very disappointing. Seemed very much about the money and not very well organized. Was excited with it being at the science centre. The kid had more fun with the standing science centre exhibits that he’s already seen then with the event. AI hallucinations and Rosie where definitely the high lights and everything else was a bust. Not to mention the food was cold.

Our favourite event every year! Where else will you see a fiery octopus, or a giant floating space bear, but at Beakerhead? We are so excited to see what they bring to Calgary every year!

It was fantastic! The amount of work and talent that went into this event was admirable. The lineups were fast considering the amount of people that attended. I loved the location compared to last year. Really enjoyed seeing all the new displays. Keep up the great work! We drove from Edmonton just for the experience.

I would agree with all negative comments. Event is getting more and more primitive but you guys start charging for it quite a decent price. I started attending Beakerhead couple of years ago. So far it's the worst show you had. Small amount of demonstrations, lineups everywhere. That line over the bridge was ridiculous. You did much better last year when as I remember you were charging on the gate. I give you 2 stars only because my 5 years old son enjoyed it. If next year you continue failing trend I will stop attending this event.

This event used to be pretty fun. How did you make it worse while charging for entrance? Clearly this event is popular and people want to attend, how could you not have foreseen that there would be line issues? You wouldn't expect someone putting on event of this size to only have one entrance, and let's say logistically there was no alternative, why the hell did you make everyone loop around the bridge? This is my first year attending since you've made it a ticketed event and frankly I don't see why I should come back.

First time coming and I'm really disappointed. There aren't many displays that are interactive and the ones that are have incredibly long lines. The line to get into the event was ridiculously long. The food truck lines are abysmal. I attribute this all to bad planning and way too many tickets sold/not enough vendors and spectacles. I was looking forward to this but I feel like I wasted my money on an uneventful walk in the park. I don't recommend this event.
