Awful. The price changed at the till. The bathrooms are terribly dirty. The laundry is awful. Someone’s clothes were left in the dryer. Clothes and things everywhere . Dirty unkept. Like lazy people live here. Almost charged us 5$ for wifi which we couldn’t get anyway. 5 for extra person. Which is stupid as we are in one camper. People walking by your place like it’s theirs. The bugs are insane. Called cause my power went out , she couldn’t figure out where the breaker was. This place needs an upgrade for certain. It’s 2025 come into the new century. Spend some money on improvements instead of shopping. Not very friendly staff. I wouldn’t use the bathroom if they paid me to. I’ll never be back nor will I tell anything good about this place. No pride in here. Lady should really take some responsibility and clean up this place.

Amazing place to stay very friendly respectful owners, beyond helpful for everything we needed or any request we made! Good humour amazing family to come down and rent a spot from if you’re a family looking for a peaceful at home feeling get away with all the worry taken care of for you

We recently visited while bikepacking thru the region. The owners were so friendly and helpful, showed us some options of where to set up. Bathrooms were big and clean, pool was refreshing and maintained.

We had a great time and would definitely come back when we are in the area again.

Decent campgrounds for Bancroft location if you need a place to stay. Parked an RV overnight, had all the RV hookups, the ground amenities are dated but surprisingly the pool was well maintained and had a good stay.

Pleasantly surprised. I was on a trial adventure on the Motorcycle. To see what a 2 day trip including camping would be like. Rather than take a chance on the sideroads I decided to try an established campground. The fee was 1/2 that of the Provincial Parks and my site was well away from all family activities. Under the Pine trees with lots of space. The site was nice and big . Had its own picnic table and firepit with loads of dry wood around. There were very few bugs and 11pm was curfew/noise. Overnight was quiet and the rain made it even more special. Great place... just off the highway far enough to think you are roughing it. I would do it again.

The Algonquin Area is prime tourist country. Finding affordable places on the weekend can be a challenge. This site is only a minute off the highway and yet feels like you are in the vast outdoors. The campsites are huge... level and all come with a picnic table and firepit with firewood. It is family run and leans more to the family with kids atmosphere.||||I was on a Motorcycle trip and decided to take a chance and rough it for a night. I was on the fringe of the site and yet felt very comfortable. The people I met were all very friendly as were the proprietors..||||I would go back again... Loved it. Nice and quiet... They have a noise by-law in effect which is strictly adhered to... great place.

Owners where super nice, had issue that we suppose have full service side by sides and they put us in the wrong spot and then once they realized it instead saying something to us they called our friends that they not going be full service or beside us. So we ended up packing up moving to another location in the campground without septic. But the owners where fantastic and pumped our septic for us.

Getting ahold someone for booking was very difficult. Campground could be very beautiful if someone clean up and money spent.
Only amenities was a outdoor pool which was very clean. Nothing else to offer nice quite place.

The facilities at this campground have seen better days but was a great place for dogs with lots of trails around the campground. There are many seasonal campers here but all the people we encountered were friendly. The owners were helpful getting us situated as we pulled in late.
