I recently traveled from Williams Lake to the Ashcroft Community Health Centre, which is operated by Interior Health, and I couldn't be more impressed with the care I received. With the long wait times at the emergency in Williams Lake and no family doctor, I was limited in my options. After a paragliding accident, I struggled to get the help I needed elsewhere, but Ashcroft came through in every way.

The nurses were incredibly friendly, caring, and professional, making me feel at ease right away. The doctor was excellent, taking a lot of time to thoroughly consult with me, which is something I don't often experience. Despite my concerns about wait times, I was pleasantly surprised—my initial consultation happened quickly, and I never felt rushed during my visit.

If you find yourself in need of medical attention and want to avoid the long waits elsewhere, I highly recommend the Ashcroft Community Health Centre. I would go back there anytime!

Serves a purpose. The nurses are INCREDIBLE, so friendly and great with my kiddo. It can be tough when a doctor is not on site for some things, but it definitely provides needed access to medical care. I have come here many times and there is usually an appointment quickly, we are seen quickly. Labs or referrals are provided.

Note this is not and ER, and service is akin to a walk in clinic visit. I think “urgent care” misleads some people. The nice thing is that the nurses will assess you right away and report to the doctor if virtual or on site.

More family doctors with available appointments is the ideal solution but this is a good solution when that isn’t possible. Thank you Ashcroft UPC!

The urgent care is useless. The doctor would not bother to see my son. She told the nurse it sounded too complicated and for us to drive to 100 mile or Merritt. She said there is no labs or xray but that is not what the nurse had told me when we first got there. All my son needed was a throat swab to see if he had an infection. Whoever that doctor is (Dr. Bardem)should be FIRED! I am so angry!!!!! I think it deserves 0 stars! Also, since when do they ask vaccination status? I have never been asked that before in all my years on this planet. Absolutely shameful. We do not live in 1930's Germany...or do we?

No stars if that option was available. Drove 130 km late at night for an appt. Received a lab req but was unable to book a lab appt in Kamloops in the time frame I had. Wintering in Golden Bc and and so I book an appt at the lab here, but Lab req from ashcroft null and void because there was no doctor ID on it. No name, no number. Nothing. I call the clinic in Ashcroft and that doctor has moved on . Back to square one.

The doctor at the urgent care in Ashcroft was rude and needs an education. How dare she treat my husband the way she did.
