What a fantastic treat we had at ArtSpeak Gallery (1942 Wyandotte St. E) during the Tea and Chat program—Opera Storytelling with award-winning opera singer Amelia Daigle.
It was truly amazing to hear her beautiful voice and captivating stories. This unique recital, both narrated and sung by Canadian soprano Amelia Daigle, showcased a stunning range of styles, languages, and time periods, offering us a glimpse into the rich and emotional world of opera. It brought back such warm memories of my childhood—remembering my dad singing opera in our humble living room, inspired by the voice of Beniamino Gigli, and then listening to records of Maria Callas afterward.
A heartfelt thank you for this unforgettable event! 🎶❤️

A little gem in the heart of Walkerville (in Windsor). When you stop by, you will always find art displayed in this small but cozy place. Often, you can meet the artists or dedicated staff members who are thrilled to answer questions. Check out the ACWR website for special events.

Super friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful staff. They feature exceptional artist and seem to be committed to supporting local artists.
Their hanging fees are the lowest that I've seen, and they don't take commissions unless it's for a group show. Even at that, the commissions rate is next to nothing.

This is a great space for artists and patrons to explore.

Visited the pop-up store featuring art from Nunavut. BEAUTIFUL and so reasonable. Chill vibe-no joke! Couldn't leave without a carving and a pair of earrings. Just lovely!
