A very unpleasant experience with the driving test examiner in Okotoks.
When I came for my first test, the examiner didn’t even introduce himself — I had to ask for his name. He was very rude and created a tense atmosphere. After the test, when I turned off the car and wanted to drink some water (because I was very nervous), he said to me, “Put it down and don’t drink.” That was very disrespectful.

The same thing happened during my second and third tests — the same examiner, the same unpleasant and tense behavior. Both the second and third times he failed me. I had taken lessons with an instructor who confirmed that I was ready to take the road test. I’m sure I did everything correctly and even felt signs of discrimination.

I do not recommend taking your road test in Okotoks, especially if you get this examiner. I didn’t even catch his name — he’s an older man with gray hair, I think his name starts with the letter “D.”

Two days later, I took the road test in Calgary and passed on my first try. The examiner there was very polite and professional.
I do not recommend the registry in Okotoks. Save your nerves and your money!!!!

I completed my road test here. The experience was exceptional starting the moment I walked in the door. The lady at the front desk was happy and kind. My examiner was so nice and genuine, immediately decreasing my anxiety. The examiner (I wish I remember his name) took the time to tactfully explain where I needed to improve while giving kudos on the things I did well on. I could tell he takes his job seriously and really wanted me to succeed. If you're planning to take you're road test, I can't recommend this registry enough!

Hi, I had a bad experience during my road test. Unfortunately I didn’t clear the road test three times. But 4th time when I go there for my road test , due alot traffic we just went there 4 minutes late , but richard denied to take the test . As I requested to all but they didn’t listen to me .As everyones know it’s very difficult to pay the fees again and again. So I also request them please postpone my test that’s why I no need to pay it again but not.I felt the service was unhelpful and not customer-friendly.” So please I want to request to everyone be careful about that types of services.
