Watching this organization destroy the life of a single mother has been one of the most infuriating things in the world. They claim to support with subsidy when appropriate but they will send the payments late and then tell you once you're evicted that there MAY be a bed available for you at the house. It is a clear reflection of sabotage for their own gain.
They clearly only care about filling the beds for funding and not actually supporting families long term. I’ve watchd my sons friends mother get screwed over by these people time and time again and now I warn any woman who wants to use this place. You're on your own with these folks.

There are some awesome staff, but for every staff member doing the work there are staff members doing the hurt….

There are some staff who allocate resources fairly, and there are other staff who do more harm then good.

I’m begging you to hire EMPATHETIC staff.
Not Kim, not Alice, not Laurel, not Britney.

Fix the schedule, take those ladies off and the streets of chilliwack will be a much safer place 💙

Disservice to society!!!
Extremely disappointed and let down with lack of help, after my sister was put on life support by the hands of her ex.
We were looking for legal help, didn't get any. Barely any correct replies to my email almost as though they weren't being thoroughly read.
We were dropped - they dropped it- i guess as i still haven't heard by. This man is still walking the streets.

Hospital staff at Abbotsford DO NOT REPORT domestic abuse on charts to avoid getting "tied up" in court, and this put my sisters case no where.
Between hospital staff (chilliwack & Abbotsford) mistreatment & misconduct, RCMP both (chilliwack &abbotsford) victim blame and look to cover up DV. cases.
This is repulsive in 2024 Canada!!!

A month after this attack on my sister, another girl came forward to RCMP with allegations of physical abuse by this man. he beat her in December 2023, Almost killed my sister Jan 31 2024, this girl come forward March 2024.

No help from Ann Davis Society!!

I went to the Anne Davis Society for counselling. I have never been there before, so I was unaware of any policies they have in place. Now being that The Anne Davis Society is for people that are affected by trauma, I was floored by the way I was treated by a executive director in the waiting room. I was in the waiting room outside the reception awaiting an appointment, I was wearing perfume and was completely unaware that there was a scent policy. She came in from outside and started making a fuss very aggressively I might add, that I was wearing perfume and she is highly sensitive to scents and I would have to leave. As she kept boasting that "she was the executive director" She then went to open the door to reception and saying "this girl is wearing perfume, she has to leave, she says she has an appointment, I will end up in the hospital because of this" She was loud and very rude! Now being a professional in this field & dealing with all walks of life of whom deal with all sorts of trauma, I would expect that someone in her position would show a little more grace when dealing with people. You have no idea who is sitting in your waiting room, you have no idea of their triggers, life or situation and treating people like this is absolutely disgraceful. I ended up leaving and was embarrassed, to no end. I seriously question the character of this women and her unprofessionalism needs to be dealt with before she does something like this again and to the wrong person. I am absolutely disgusted with her behavior.

Great non-profit in the Chilliwack Community. Counseling, groups, outreach, they do a lot of the community, and I can't wait to see them continue to grow with community support.

Stop the Violence Program - First counselor was amazing, unfortunately her practicum ended part way through the program without prior warning.
With the replacement counselor, I experienced a counselor that just listened and made a few grunts occasionally. My session ended without closure. I felt more traumatized after session.
