Waiting for doctor sucks at the hospital in Altona. My sister is in so pain. The doctor is always late. They need more doctors on call. They need more doctors in Altona.

I understand that the nurses and doctors are understaffed. My wife went in 2 pm and was done at 7 pm on August 16th. Dr Best La Ron was the Doctor that was in that day. There were only five people there. two in the waiting room and three in the back rooms. I've never seen a doctor that was so slow to get to his a patients. It took my wife 5 hours at hospital. Around 6:00 he went for supper which he has the full rights too. Not saying he doesn't but when he came back my wife said he was moving so slowly that it was unbelievable. I hope doctor Best La Ron learns to hurry up a little bit because everybody has a life to tend to because that should never take 5 hours for 5 patients. I thought only Winkler hospital did that

Not able to give 0 stars so 1 star will have to do. This is not a hospital or an ER. If you care about your life and want to survive please go to any other hospital or see any person with a generic first aid kit and you will probably be better off. This "hospital" is a waiting room for the care home and I don't think they honestly care if you make it to the care home or not. If you walk in with a small cut needing stitches your loved ones will probably be planning your funeral before the week is over.

no one likes going to emergency, but I had to go yesterday, and I was truly impressed with my treatment. The staff was very friendly and put me at ease. There was no waiting and they acted quickly and totally efficiently. The nurses and Dr there were complete gems and they made a stressful time , well, less stressful. Major kudos to the team there and they should me commended for not only what they do , but how they do it. totally impressive in everyway!!!

Amazing experience! Our daughter had ear pain and we showed up at 11:50 pm and we left with a prescription and two doses for her ear infection at 12:20!

Most of the time it is closed because there is no doctor on call. So the E.R. is closed. What are you supposed to do when you don't drive and need to see a doctor? Call an ambulance and go to Boundary. The hospital is more of a waiting room for people that are being paneled for Eastview Place. Most of the staff are terrific! but there are some nurse Ratched types lurking patient beware. Long wait times unless you've got a severed limb or something where you're almost dead. Which is funny because there usually aren't many people waiting. Maybe it's more of a PC government issue than anything.

If I could give a zero star I would I have been waiting 4 hours to get a cut stitched nurses can be heard laughing and having a good old time while there are people in the waiting room tired and want to leave they should close this hospital down will never come back willing to risk driving to winkler in a emergency
