Very unimpressed I recommend looking somewhere else if your looking for a pool. I've been going to this pool all my life and it has always very by the book in terms of rules which is ok but there needs to be some better coordination between the life guards.

I took my 2 nephews here on Friday June 13th 2025 for free swimming for a work event.

So i was watching my nephews and they had been switching between the deep end and the blue slide they were having a blast! All of a sudden one of the female lifeguards asked my younger nephew to stand by there measurement board to see if he was tall enough to go on the slide other wise you have swim 2 wits
and she gave him the thumbs up.

then they switch back to the deep end of the pool again and jump off the diving board i did buy him a life jacket then they decide to go back to the blue slide this time there is a guy watching the slide and id say they go about 5 times down the slide with this guy life guard watching all of a sudden this guy asks my younger nephew to stand by there measurement board

Now all of a sudden he is not tall enough ok so he goes and tries his 2 wits which he couldnt do
I finded this extremely od as the first life guard told him that he could go on the blue slide but now he has to with his life jacket

So i tell my nephew that he is allowed to go on the blue slide as the first life guard said he could
And i told him id be there if the life guard said something. So we walk up to the slide and the life guard blows his whistle and yells “hey buddy you cant go on the slide” so i ask him “how come the first life guard said he could but now all of a sudden he cant”

and the life guard explains now he cant cause he couldnt swim his 2 wits and he tells me if i have an issue i can speak to his manager so i tell him i have a lot of issues and we leave i did not have time for those shenanigans. I will be avoiding this pool going forward until changes are made

There is so much more to the Aquatic Centre than the name states. There are walking paths, tennis court, volleyball pit , picnic areas and baseball diamonds and disc golf It's definitely a place for everyone, not just for swimming. It should actually be renamed because it offers so much more including a campground and nature pond. It's a little piece of nature in a small town that offers so much for families to enjoy.

I just loved it. We went with out kids and the whole park and centre are beautiful. The only down side is how crowded it was, and that the lifeguards were allowing kids to do stupid things at the pool.
But the place itself is really great

Solid pool with slides that will keep the kids of all ages entertained for a long time. Covid restrictions capped the number of occupants in 2021, so I felt fortunate to have gotten a spot. That said, because of the restrictions, the lower capacity rates made the visit so much more enjoyable. In addition, with the blistering heat of 2021, this was an amazing reprieve.

We hadn't even entered the water yet when it started to thunder, everyone had to get out of the pool, it kept thundering so we decided to leave.We didn't even get a refund, even if we hadn't even been in the water at all, and wouldn't be able to.... nice pool but they should give refunds with these situations!
