I've always had good service from my credit union, for the last 40+ years. The staff is always helpful and give me good advice. I recently opened a line of credit which proved to be hassle free. I almost always visit my credit union when I need cash as I am recognized by the staff. I once made a major boo-boo paying an online bill (I paid $1200 instead of $12.00) and they arranged for the charge to be reversed from the merchant for a small fee. I can't imagine that a regular bank would have been so helpful ! Many thanks to the staff !

It was an amazing Credit Union when it was called Pace. When it got bought out by Alterna it become a corporate entity and not a local credit union. I don't love their fee structures now. I went from not having to pay monthly fees to having to pay almost $15 a month. They behave like a bank and not a credit union by charging what a bank does but without the services of a bank. I banked solely online and never engaged a human so no reason for me to pay $15 in service fees. They don't really care when you explain this to them. So I have now switched to another Credit Union.
