I have bought a few pairs of shoes and boots there, brought them home to find out the soles are coming off or they are worn out inside the heel.things you don't notice expecting a in a quality used footwear.No returns ,the store should sort out the garbage and not pass it on to seniors and poor people looking to buy at a price they can afford.You are not helping the the the low income but hurting them.inspect your goods before selling them we shop In good faith.

The salvation army in Abbotsford is one of my favorite places to shop so I thought I would check out the Aldergrove location, the size of the building looked promising but it was anything but. It is disorganized, grubby looking, everything feels and looks dirty, they have clothing items they deem stealable locked to coat racks with bike locks weirdly stretching the clothes which makes them less desirable anyway. Now onto the pricing, I used to shop at value village but the cost has gotten so out of hand I switched to thrift stores like this, may have well gone to VV as the prices were absolutely insane, you are a thfirt store, you should not be charging $20 for a second hand pair of jeans you were given for free. Then to top of the experience the lady at check out was pissy as soon as she saw I had headphones on (I have sensory issues due to ptsd so I wear them to dampen sudden and loud noises)
And as I held my hand out for my change she threw it on the counter and tried helping the next person in shoving me out of the way while I grabbed my money.

Every time I go to donate quality items for free the grumpy man at the gate gives me attitude. I will no longer show any kind of support to people that don't appreciate it

Terribly crabby old lady who works there. She has no customer services skills and really puts a damper on everyone’s day. A smile doesn’t hurt anyone, she should try it! The prices are overpriced, though you can find some good deals once in awhile.

The only item I wanted to buy in this thrift store they would not sell. You’d think they would want to sell the used items kindly donated by people for free in their store to support their organization, but they do not care! My grandfather donated over $200,000 to this nonprofit. I wish that he never gave them a cent! They don’t deserve any donations with the way that they treat people. This will be in the newspaper.
