My mother has Alzheimer's. We came to A & O in hopes of having a discussion towards taking care of some legal matters for her. Instead, what we got was an incredibly rude lawyer who made it no secret that he had zero intention of treating my mother with even a molecule of respect. My mother's condition makes it very difficult for her to communicate with the right words what she means to say, and often needs extra time to properly communicate. Darren Pawella made no attempt to hide his eye rolls, or his loud sighing and snide comments. He was annoyed that he was tasked with dealing with my mother, and I'm extremely embarrassed that as a son who is trying to help his mother, that I subjected her to this. Even though we did not want to get a will done, he ignored this and still went through the process of trying to set up a will. I don't know if they get paid more by getting more done or what incentive he had to do more than what we wanted to get done, but he clearly wasn't interested in acting in the interest of anyone but his own.

I can't believe these are the people who are in position to help senior citizens, those among us who may be very prone to be taken advantage of. If you have any love or respect for your elderly, or you yourself are considering seeking the services provided here, just know that you are very likely dealing with someone who wants nothing to do with being there to help at all. Embarrassing.
