I had the most welcoming and professional experience.
My surgery was done in 2018 and never used a breast prostheses. I used a knitted knocker. I was not happy with the results of it. I came across the After Brest Cancer on Instagram. Better late than never. I am so pleased with my new breast prostheses and bra I feel more confident and comfortable. I want to thank the staff for their over and above service I received.

Navigating life after breast cancer can feel isolating, but finding a supportive community can make all the difference. I found solace in After Breast Cancer. Their empathetic approach and understanding of the challenges I faced provided a safe space for me to share my experiences and connect with others on a similar journey. Whether it was group sessions or one-on-one counseling, their support was invaluable in helping me heal emotionally. Grateful for this lifeline during a challenging time.

It is not charity organization ! It is business, selling over price store. This “charity” organization is located in the store. We was told that to get a bra you need to give 50$ if you don’t have 50$ give 40$! Donation it is something that what you can and willing to donate! Amazon price is 30$ for this kind of bras. When people come to your organization they expecting to get a help on top of this these people are mostly with low income and insurance. Just no comments….

I took my sister in here last week and we were treated like garbage. The sale associate was so rude to us and said we could not try on the garments. When we asked why, she said, you two can not afford them. My sister left crying, it was heartbreaking. Everyone is going through something, being kind is the only way to be, we still have no clue why we were treated this way but it was terrible. We will not be coming back. The owner replied saying they do not charge for their mastectomy bras when they do, I was told each bra costs $70-125. Thank you for lying to us about the cost and advertising everything is free.

Ladies please be ware! The owner accused me of racism, please read this, it is extremely disturbing. I was verbally assaulted by the owner today, thank goodness I took a video recording of this interaction to showcase the terrible way I was treated. All the bras she brought me looked dirty and warn and she refused to let me try on garments that had not been worn. She proceeded to say "what and I not good enough for you, is it because I am black that you don't to buy from me.' I was appalled, why on earth would you say something about race, race has nothing to do with me not wanting to try on dirty bras. Please spend elsewhere as racism is not allowed anywhere!

Such an incredible organization! ABC does so much for women who cannot afford necessary post-mastectomy items. The volunteers are some of the hardest working and gain a lot experience.
