Our experience with Activa has been deeply disappointing and frustrating from the very beginning. What should have been an exciting and memorable time—building our new home—has been overshadowed by poor communication, unprofessionalism, and a lack of accountability.

From the outset, there were issues with privacy when Activa’s staff carelessly shared our personal information with other buyers. The incident was brushed off with little more than an apology and assurances that processes would change. This breach of trust set the tone for what was to come.

Throughout the process, we have faced ongoing miscommunication, delayed responses, last-minute changes, and a general lack of respect for the significant investment we are making. Major changes, including a shift in our closing date, were communicated casually and without any real acknowledgment of how disruptive these decisions are to our lives—impacting everything from the sale of our current home to moving arrangements and deliveries. Activa was also not transparent whatsoever with the reason for the change in our closing date.

Even when we raised valid concerns, Activa's responses felt dismissive. There has been no real effort to take accountability or offer meaningful solutions. Instead, we have repeatedly been made to feel like we should simply accept poor service as part of the process.

The entire experience has eroded any excitement we initially felt about building our home and has left us questioning the integrity of the company we chose to trust with one of the biggest purchases of our lives.

I would caution anyone considering building with Activa to proceed carefully and be prepared for an experience that may fall far short of expectations.
