What an incredibly unprofessional company. Aside from shoddy work, and questionable safety, they are completely disrespectful of the area they work in. Damaging neighbours yards, leaving equipment blocking access to neighbours driveways and walkways, piling dirt haphazardly as to block far more area than needed and causing traffic issues.

We hired Sturgeon Construction to pour a new reinforced concrete retaining wall in our 115 year old half basement as well as repair & reinforce the wall in the stairwell. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work, how well they cleaned up the site, and how the quoted price is exactly what we paid. Todd and his crew were really nice to deal with; a great bunch of guys!

We hired Sturgeon Construction to waterproof an exterior wall as we had some water getting in through the foundation. They were on time both days, cleaned up incredibly well and an extremely fair price. Highly recommend this company for any foundation repairs needed! Thank you!

Sturgeon did a great job on our foundation waterproofing and repair. On budget and on time, and completely cleaned up after themselves including our property and street. Worked with us to find a solution for a further unexpected drainage problem with minimal additional expense. Good communications from the office, the onsite supervisor and management. Highly recommend.

We had our foundation repaired and waterproofed by this company and I must say, they are very good at what they do. We have absolutely no complaints. The workers were all very professional , cleaned up areas at the end of the day. These guys went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this company for any foundation repairs. Would not recommend Sturgeon Construction for foundation work.
We hired the company for basement waterproofing. Part of the job involved cementing a crack along 1 foot of the wall where the footing had dropped. Work was completed on June 27. On July 1 we had a large rain storm. Pieces of cement washed into the basement along with a lot of water. We have been trying to have this rectified for 2 months. It seems clear that the cement failed, whether from use of the wrong product or a lack of proper curing.
We would like that section of the wall re-dug and the cement redone. We have had nothing but run arounds. We have witnessed poor communication between the office and the managers and between the managers and the laborers. We have now been advised that the only way they will open up this area of wall is if we pay for the excavation of 13 feet at a cost of almost 50% of the original job.
Hire this company at your own risk!
