My mother had an ultrasound scheduled for 9am which required her to have a full bladder. We showed up over 15 minutes early as requested, and now an hour past her scheduled appointment time she is still waiting with a very full bladder. Unorganized to say the least. Don’t schedule someone for a time you can’t keep to especially when asking for someone to have a full bladder. It’s not fair to the patient.

Gillian in registration was exactly what you’d want when visiting a hospital unwell. She was polite, friendly and pleasant overall. I cannot say the same for the nurse in triage who was not friendly, and began with “what’s your problem today”. Beside manner was 100% as though she didn’t want to be there. Coming in with two sick kids plus yourself and having to face that on top of it is absolutely disappointing. Signs posted everywhere stating aggressive behaviour won’t be tolerated etc. What about your patients? Those rules don’t apply to us? To THAT nurse you know who you are and shame on you! If you’re “tired” of what you do then call it quits. If seeing sick kids doesn’t tug on your heartstrings and make you want to do everything you can to make them feel better or their experience better by being friendly and welcoming then you’re in the wrong field! Canada has enough issues in healthcare and Canadians don’t need unprofessional , and poorly mannered nurses on top of it!

I always enjoy going over to the County. It brings back my memories of high school and some of the best friends I have ever met. The place has changed in many ways but is still got that home town feeling for me.

Just went with my newborn thought i was doing the right thing by getting her checked out clearly was a mistake i was made to feel like a criminal for even showing up they said you should call your family doctor but they don't even take calls only text and it takes days to hear back anyway just very disappointing they constantly say " back the build" and give to your local hospital for support but they cant manage to support us when we need it

What stands out the most here is that the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hospital is easy to navigate, and the parking is available and free.
