I was so excited to find a Danish Pastry House again but how the mighty have fallen.

From their popular flaky rich and sweet pastries, I ordered several Viking’s Bread pastries. Sadly while the flavors were the same, the texture was soft and not very crisp compared to what I came to expect at Danish Pastry House for the same item.

Definitely expected better and might try a different pastry item to validate if this was just a batch issue or not.

Very cute place! I wanted almond pastry and one of the workers helped me pick one. My boyfriend got a beef pie and he said it was good. He was happy with his cappuccino and the hot chocolate was really good. 🙂

The worst place to get pastries. These guys sell bad stuff and expired. The management does not care if the pastries have dried out. I have kept photos of the pastries and will be contacting head office about this.

I got 3 chocolate roll cakes (the roll) and the top layer was completely dried up like stone. Not edible at all. I would like to get my money back. This was my final time visiting this place. It’s unfortunate because they can do a better job but they are uncaring.

Great lattes and pastries. Sandwiches look delicious-great prices. Nice place to visit with friends. Only gave 4 stars as lattes were served in paper cups. They do serve in cups and saucers at other locations.

I've been here a few times now, and everything I've had is delicious. From the pastries to the bread to the cookies, everything tastes fresh and homemade. I highly recommend anything with their raspberry jam. It's worth stopping at the mall just for them.

Danish Pastry House sells a large selection of baked goods and bread. I bought the kokostop (coconut macaroon) and hoj snegl (cinnamon pastry with custard filling and chocolate). The kokostop tasted really good. It was soft, moist and full of coconut flavour. Would buy again. The hoj snegl was okay; I felt like the cinnamon flavour was a bit too strong. The service was fast and friendly. They have a few tables for dining in. I like that the pastries here are unique and quite different from what you'd find at other bakeries across Ontario.

These pastries were tasty and buttery. Everything was flakey and heavy on the almond flavour. The best part was their 1$ coffee promotion that’s currently going on that pairs perfectly with these pastries!
