I had an amazing experience at Swiss Chalet thanks to our wonderful server, Valerie. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being overbearing. She knew the menu inside out, made thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at just the right times to ensure everything was perfect.

Our food arrived hot and exactly as ordered, and Valerie went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find service this genuinely kind and professional — Valerie truly elevated our visit.

If you’re dining at this location, ask for Valerie. She’s a star!

Swiss Chalet Markville

We came here on Wednesday night with some friends and we had an great time. This location is better then all the other Swiss Chalet locations because this location had more ice cream than the others. The waiter, Valerie was very kind and gave extra tissues and extra sour cream. She could also speak in Cantonese which is awesome. The chicken stir-fried was so flavorful and tasty. The chicken skin in the kids meal was a little burnt but it was barely. Overall I would give this place a 4.5 if I could. Come to this place it is BETTER!

Our family came here on a Wednesday night to take advantage of the kids eat free deal. Our server, Valerie, was really nice and took good care of the kids. The food was also hot and fresh. Our family enjoyed the night with wonderful food and service. Will definitely be back!

Came by Sunday night for dinner and ordered the roast beef, a quarter let with poutine and double leg with salad. The roast beef was prepared and tasted great. The roasted chicken seems to be a bit on the dry side, not tender/juicy. It wasn't the falloff the bone as it use to be before. It might have been sitting in the kitchen for a while cause when we got the chicken it was room temperature and a bit on the dry side. The chicken could have been much better, I did not complain because I don't usually eat Swiss Chalet (maybe once a year) so it wasn't worth my time to complain. Staff/service was good and restaurant is very clean.

This evening, my family and I, long-time customers of Swiss Chalet by CF Markville, had a disappointing experience for the first time. The chicken served with our two Chicken Parm entrees was burnt. We were told we’d receive fresh chicken, but instead, the same pieces we originally ordered were returned to us with extra cheese. The server insisted the chicken was new and mentioned there was no more available. The manager explained that the burnt look was intentional. However, both the server and manager were unable to respond when we showed them photos proving the “new” chicken was identical to the original burnt pieces.

Fortunately, the server was very polite and attentive, but unfortunately, the manager was not as courteous and handled the situation unprofessionally.

Had an amazing dining experience and tasty food as expected. We’re never disappointed when dining at Swiss Chalet, especially this location. Frankie was our server and he was perfect and gave us great service. We’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to seeing the friendly staff. Also, the Cheesy Garlic Loaf tasted great and better than I expected! Thank you Frankie!

We ordered the Thanksgiving special today. The service was excellent and very attention to detail. We arrived there by 11 am and found out there were already three or four tables ahead of us. Food came out very fast and just the right temperature and portion. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

We will come back for more special on Tuesday and Wednesday soon.

We had a wonderful experience at this Swiss Chalet. Valerie was friendly and the food came very quickly. The fastest that we had ever experienced at any Swiss Chalet. The food tastes great and the price was right. The decor was how they say.... Retro. Whether this is on purpose or not, I will never know... Are Chalets supposed to look like this?
