They came to my house to install main power line hook electricians ladder slid down the side of my house damaging the corner and ripping my vinyl siding and ripping the corner I'm on a pension can't afford to fix it They ignored my calls and I went in person and all they said was the $300 that they would have been paid by me take that instead of repairing the $1,500 in damage They did to my house. Would not do any negotiating

After reading previous reviews I’m thinking I caught these guys on a bad day maybe , went in with my wife to pick out some new fixtures for our newly built home ( we need all of them ) there were 2 staff working from what I could see , one was busy with a customer so we browsed while waiting . We did see some fixtures we were interested in for sure but even after that customer left and another man who seemed irritated that nobody had helped also left we weren’t greeted at all or even acknowledged for that matter. Too bad we would’ve definitely liked to buy from a small mom and pop type store .

We ordered two new identical kitchen lights from Finkle Electric. When they finally arrived (it took longer than suggested by the salesperson), Finkle gave us one new product, but the floor model for the other. This was not disclosed to us at the time of purchase (we paid in advance), nor was there a discount for the floor model that was forced on us.

When I went back in and expressed that I wanted two new products, the salesperson refused and tried using the excuse that the price had gone up since our order and that we paid the old price. This explanation was unsatisfactory, as we pre-paid the price that was in the system (the salesperson looked in the system and said they had dozens at the warehouse in Concord, ON) at the time of our order and we shouldn't be forced to take a floor model, when we paid for new product.

Further, the floor model was partially assembled, which actually made it more difficult to install versus the brand new one.

Because of this unpleasant experience, we will be trying other lighting stores before considering a return to Finkle.

They (Darren and Tatum)did perfect and terrific job, BUT,
1. They installed multiple LED bulbs (14 and 16 dollars each) which it is more expensive than home depot. You can find good phillips bulb for 10 dollars
2. They said that I can get rebate from hydro-one for the bulbs which I paid more than 1300 dollars, but at the end we found out that I should have printed coupon to get bulbs in discounted price from home depot.

3. They did half of the job now and the rest 3 weeks later, they supposed to come waaaaay earlier, because they said they had commercial job which i think they believe it is more important than residential.

Summary: They charged me more for bulbs and now I am unable to get rebate ( lost around 400 CAD), but they installed fixtures perfectly.
