I came to tour this apartment complex, but the experience was awful. The unit I was shown had visible semen in it — completely disgusting and unacceptable. If this is how they present a place to potential tenants, I can only imagine what it’s like to live there.

On top of that, the whole place felt cheap and neglected. From what I’ve heard and seen, the owners run the complex like a dictatorship, with excessive rules and no real concern for residents’ comfort or input. I left immediately and won’t be coming back.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Be very careful with this housing co-op! If the Board members find any reason to "dislike" you, you will be punished. You will have their children throw things at your unit, certain members will stand and yell at you in the middle of the courtyard. Cursing and swearing at you, blaming you for their own behaviour. They allow certain members to do what they like, while others get threatening emails, calls or text msgs. And let's not forget the fact that the Board of Directors allowed $50,000 of funds to be stolen. All while allowing the person responsible for the theft to still reside there. The board of directors believe they can do as they please and do not have to be held accountable for their actions. It really is a sad state of affairs, as there are many good people who live there. Unfortunately, they just get silenced by those in power.

This housing complex has seen better days and even with the recent repairs and renovations needs more TLC. Like the neighborhood this place has been going down hill for years and will continue to do so for sometime to come. The layout is centered around parking lots and semi separated row housing. Somewhat dated appearance but better looking than the more recent severe and abrupt high contrast rough appearing plastic brick and saggy cheap plastic siding so prevalent in new areas that is apparently prone to creating volatile quick spreading fires. The location here is of the 'car culture's that almost nothing is available for services or shopping within reasonable walking distance.

We have lived here for over a year now and love this community. Everyone was so welcoming and we have built great relationships. In such a short time our kids have built such strong friendships. Its such a nice quiet place to live.

Renters beware! While in the process of moving out they decided to go through all of our things & take what they desired/ anything valuable. They took things such as traditional First Nations blankets, shoes, toys, clothes, tv & various other items. Also making their own Netflix profile on our Netflix ‘thanks for account’ . Might I also add that through our stay they not once came to fix problems or provide the things to do it ourself as they said upon moving in.

This housing has seen better days and could use some serious upkeep on the buildings and the grounds. If you want to live in a dictatorship where you are constantly threatened by the person in power, then this is the place to be. All I can say is beware!

I have clients who live here for many years and when there is a problem with something needing to get fixed then it gets done quickly.

Pretty standard coop condo housing area
