Low income seniors housing co-operative as in member owned and operated. Good condition with many recent improvement s. Income ceiling keeps this cost based building available for seniors of modest to low means. Well managed by live in caretakers. Good quiet neighborhood with limited parking both on street and off. Weekends and evenings have relaxed parking restrictions and widely available spots. Grocery store options are somewhat limited and only one or two are in reasonable walking distance. Driving options are much more complete within 10 minutes. Doctors hospitals and sundry other medical services are quite convenient. City buses stop less than a block away. 2 parks within a block or so offer good open spaces for walks and reflection.

The current board of director manages this property with noticeable favoritism and a lack of transparency.
It seems that rental applications from individuals who are not friends, family members, or relatives of board members are thrown way or disregarded or discarded, while those with personal connections of the board are given preference. This practice demonstrates clear favoritism and a lack of transparency, undermining trust in the property's management. Therefore, many units are empty, and rent increases from time to time every three to four months in a year.
This raises valid concerns about fairness and equal opportunity in the rental process. The board must practices transparent and impartial approach for all applicants to ensure that all applicants are treated equally and that decisions are made based on merit, not personal relationships.
