Never actually follows anything legally. They will say something for x day but show up a week or more early an threaten legal action and send RCMP for construction work weeks in advance. No notices left on my temporary broken down vehicle waiting for Canada Post delivery. No knock or notice and suddenly my vehicle gets towed. Claimed didn't know who it belonged to but saw me out there day before working on it. The town office is full of condescending individuals who act like they are God's gift to the town. They act like a club of snooty individuals and half laugh at every inquiry or issue you ask.

My experiences with the town of Langenburg:

In 2021, road work was scheduled to be done on the road in front of our house. We received a notice on our door with the dates listed. A week before the date listed on the notice, they started road work and showed up at my door with RCMP threatening to tow my car and issue me fines for not moving it. Again, this was several days before work was scheduled to begin. No apology was given and I was told that I should've somehow "known" that it was going to start when it did.

This month, during nonstop snow storms, the town claims that two notices were left on our car for it to be moved because it had been parked directly in front of our home for two weeks. The dates that they give for the notices being left were on dates that we received several inches of snow and high winds. We never received any of the notices because they were either buried within seconds of being placed or blown away. No notice was given to us personally by mail or on our door. The car was towed today and when asked why no notice was sent by mail or on our door, they claimed didn't know who the car belonged to but knew exactly why I was calling when I mentioned my name. Funny how that works.

The town of Langenburg is fine. The people that work for the town of Langenburg are a different issue entirely and unfortunately are hostile and unapologetic when questioned.
