100% child-friendly. Kids were having fun and forgot the fear while waiting their tooth surgery the next day. Everyone is welcoming, and for the place there’s nothing to ask for. A home away from home indeed! Thank you so much RMHC❤️

RMH is continuously top notch!
This is the pace we take refuge when we go for medical procedures in Winnipeg and there's no shortage of distractions/play and tools to keep my little ones busy and their minds off their medical troubles.

Their home for dinner program is a major relief, especially when traveling with the whole family - as buying meals for a family of 5 every day gets costly. It certainly takes a weight off our shoulders to have a few meals provided for!

The bedroom accommodations are so thoughtful. They've got wheelchair/mobility accessible rooms and showers, in-room fridges for breast milk/formula storage and complete peace of mind to be in a bedbug-free space as they do their checks weekly.

Laundry facilities check one more item on the list, SO valuable for those unexpectedly long stays.

Security is amazing and very well thought through.

Thank you RMH for being our home away from home!

Very thankful for a place like this, where we could stay during the time our baby was in the hospital. Very friendly staff and great service.
There is a couple of reasons I left a four star instead of a five star. The one thing is that the place is outdated. The other reason is that the rooms don't have private bathrooms or showers, (good news to that is that the new Ronald McDonald House is opening this summer, which is supposed to have private bathrooms in each room). Also it was a little disappointing that we had to wear masks in the public areas.

My family and I had to spend Christmas here and 4 weeks in total throughout December and January. The space is beautiful, spacious and new. The rooms are a bit on the small side and the beds are really high up making it difficult for kids to get up on their own. But everything else was great. The staff are excellent, welcoming and helpful. The underground parking makes it safe and convenient to come and go. There's a play structure, games room and theatre making it interesting for kids. The meals provided a few times a week are great. They stock up the to-go fridge quite often. They made a tough time a lot easier. Having communal laundry is maybe the toughest part. All in all I'm grateful for this place wholeheartedly and would recommend this as a place to come if you live far from Winnipeg and need to be close to the hospital for your child. Forever grateful for this organization and anyone who donates their resources or time.

I had a very bad experience at the Ronald McDonald Room in the hospital. The manager there Rachel is passive aggressive smiles but not genuine or empathetic at all. They need someone more genuine and caring as manager for somewhere like the Ronald MacDonald Room. The house is great however and everyone there is amazing.

This space was a blessing to have available every time my child was in surgery. I went there several to sit alone, shed some tears, and calm down. Beautiful and warm atmosphere.
