I would not recommend Wellings of Corunna to anyone planning an important event. The lack of communication from both Billy, the manager, and Kevin, the caterer, was extremely unprofessional. Billy knew nothing about the catering options or even how to contact Kevin, leaving me completely in the dark about important details.

Neither of them answered phone calls or replied to emails in a timely manner—if at all. Even when I showed up in person to see the space or make a payment, they were not available or anywhere to be found.

When you trust a venue and catering team with a special occasion, you expect organization, reliability, and respect for your time. Unfortunately, Wellings of Corunna failed in all of these areas. I emailed and called several times to try to get my event on track, but the lack of communication and unprofessional behaviour ultimately had me pull my event and move it elsewhere.

The Wellings of Corunna is a great place, Billy and his staff look after you very well and the facility is beautiful, with lots of friendly faces and activities to keep you busy. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to stay or live.

Redeem your tickets and get them to me by Friday and I'll get you the info on it was free products over the internet if you'd want it or if I can join you for the paint and I can get it from the house on Friday and I have no plans to be able until Monday to take care lol and I'll be in the office today and I have no plans to be able until next month to make sure that the smile will get better and more

I love my new Home! Since I have no close relatives living in Canada this is the greatest place! If you are in the same position come and take a tour! You will give it 5 Stars too! The Employees treat you like Family! I will be glad to show you my Apartment, with your own washer & dryer! A latest kitchen appliances if you like to make some of your own meals! See you!

Always feel like you're being watched constantly and being gossiped about constantly by both senior staff and fellow residents. I will move out of Wellings as soon as is practible. Being 76 years old and without a car or relatives anywhere nearby this is going to be extremely difficult and I'm miserable living in this place. Now they are offering a $500.00 incentive to residents if we can get someone to move in here. I've heard the occupancy of the building is about 60 per cent so there are a lot of apartments (suites, they like to call them) available. While talking to a visiting gentleman recently he was telling me about problems his father is having living here. When I asked if his dad has complained, he said his dad was afraid to complain for fear of getting kicked out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, no matter how pretty everything looks on the surface.

Went for breakfast, want to move in…but I’m apparently not old enough and I can’t afford it. The food was amazing though, really fantastic breakfast. Atmosphere was also amazing! Service was top notch! Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend. For folks who are actually old enough to live here, seems like a great place! They have a spa, hair salon, gym all kinds of social activities, a lounge area, board games, movies, seriously folks, I want to move in!

I stayed here for 4 months in 2022. Management opened its doors to trades people looking for a dwelling, despite the Ministry of Health advising seniors (our most vulnerable) to avoid contact with people, especially those that work and travel as much as we did. Realized Billy and Neal (the management) prioritize their profit above everything once I moved in.

Senior and management relations were hostile. I don't blame the seniors. 1 meal a day for 4k per month in Sarnia is retarded. Moreover, conflict over the size of the portions in that one meal. Many seniors felt as if they're shrinking the servings and plates. Charging .50 for a pop in addition to 4k per month for a 1 bedroom was the last straw.

Place is rip off.

Neal and Billy are both scum predators. They're out there preying on the helpless. Nickle and diming them until they expire. They're both compulsive liars, full of huberus. Accustomed to conning elderly all day. Didn't take much time to realize there's a better place for my money.
