Visiting LAMP Community Health Centre at St. Margaret's can be a bit of an adventure, especially if you're not used to the area. The surroundings might seem a bit intimidating, but once you step inside, the warm and welcoming atmosphere quickly puts you at ease. However, there's this one fire hydrant outside that seems to have seen better days—it's like it's been a magnet for too many visitors, if you know what I mean. On some days, the area can get pretty lively, with some enthusiastic folks screaming out their frustrations or just generally being loud. Despite these quirks, LAMP itself offers a fantastic range of services, from healthcare to community programs, making it a vital resource for the community.

I might return to revise my review. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the supports since I was ushered outta there quick fast.

This is one of the best community and health centers I have ever been to, it's always been a good experience here as the people working here have a lot of compaction and empathy to there clients and the local people from the Lakeshore area. The receptionist and all staff here try to help and direct you to the right department and other services offered. I have been a client here for over 16 years and have always had a good experience as my Dr is located here, they have several doctors and nurses to help there clients and there health care options. I love this community center because they have so much to offer, such as tax services free of charge depending on your income and legal services as well. There is a housing department to help people find a good place to live with a limited income. This building also has a diabetes clinic, a foot care clinic cutting toe nails and foot care taking of and there is also a dental care center for low income under 16 years old or over 65 years old not to forget the daycare center and many other services offered by them. This is just part of the reason I give this place 5 star's plus. God bless all the great personal there please stay safe and thank you for all your help and kindness. If you like my review please leave a positive thumbs up and positive feedback and please also check out my other reviews and photos so stay safe and God bless 🙌. And by the way New Toronto fish and chips is just around the corner 😊❤.

HORRIBLE RECEPTION STAFF!!!!!

Love seeing doctor Quigley and wish she would switch clinics because she is great. The reception staff need to go! I am always so appalled and frustrated after trying to book an appointment or return a call. My family members have been brought to tears by their interrogations over your personal details and just how nasty they can be to talk to

The staff is so rude, cold, unhelpful and just terrible to deal with!!! It's been like this for years

I’ve been a patient at LAMP for 10+ years. The care was so good until my nurse practitioner retired. Since then, LAMP has changed my nurse practitioner three times. In the past, I was able to meet with my nurse via telephone for a simple requisition for bloodwork or a prescription (I recently had cancer and need bloodwork and ultrasounds 1-2x/year as well as top-ups to my daily meds).

However, this new nurse practitioner insists I must come into her office for a “meet and greet”. I now live in Burlington but decided to stay with LAMP because of the exceptional care I received under my longtime nurse, Wendy Godine, and because it is incredibly difficult to find a family doctor these days. Today, the medical receptionist informed me that my new nurse practitioner has suggested that I find a new healthcare provider closer to my home, and that they would not be able to help me any further unless and until I come into meet her face-to-face. It’s frustrating and unethical for a healthcare provider to refuse care, especially for a something as simple as re-sending a bloodwork requisition that is needed for a serious medical condition. Very disappointed in LAMP and their staff.

Came here for newborn hearing test. Was treated well by staff, and I’m grateful the technician conducting the test allowed me to breastfeed my son during the test to help keep him relaxed. Plenty of parking available on site, which is a bonus!

Unorganized dumpster fire.
Rescheduled for the fourth time, this time due to "technical difficulties".

First was the national Rogers outage.
Next, something came for the psychiatrist. ok.
The third one, they didn't even bother scheduleling me in, only for me to find out several calls later the previous appointment cancellation was cancelled...at the last minute. And guess who didn't bother notifying me about that.
Now two weeks later, now miraculously, a "technical difficulty" this time.

What's next, the office caught fire? A Trex popped out a time machine and ate one of your workers?

Quit making excuses and admit you are doing this to embezzle more "funds" from the governement since you have my my entire health card information already in your system.
