The only thing I can say about london cares facility is the security there go beyond there job titles and are amazing people . They should be doing london cares jobs for them basically already are

This place is a great place for anyone who needs somewhere to rest, do laundry, have a shower, or need to talk to someone. They always have an ear for anyone. The staff is awesome here!

It's unfortunate that they will be closing, I believe, at the end of April. It's very helpful for everyone to get their laundry done and shower, along with a safe place to rest.
They need more funding to stay open.
I've gotten to know the lady's that work there, and they are just like FAMILY!!! I'm so sad that I had to say goodbye to 2 of the ladies so far.☹️

If you are homeless and in need of emergency shelter. You are out of luck, my dears. You're better off trying to find other accommodations. Its been four weeks now since I've been homeless and on the streets and I've been calling only to be told call back at 2pm or call back at 6pm and still not receiving any help at all!! I can understand that this is the only shelter in London, and then there are a few others whose only main focus is abused women and children. Which is fine... because I'm sure it's not nice living in an abusive situation. But why are all these resources being offered and these organizations claiming to reach out and help people when that is the farthest from the truth! Four weeks of walking and sleeping on the streets, Yet there are so many so-called programs put into place to help people like me.(Homeless)Yes, there is a crisis going on right now... you'd think there would be other help for young people who are homeless and living on the streets or at risk of being homeless. Its like they don't even care.. which kinda defeats their logo. London cares... maybe for themselves because the workers have beds they can lay down at night so they don't put too much effort or concern whether you in need or not. If you're new to the city like me. You might as well continue to look forward to being homeless and without food. Before you actually get help from any of these organizations that claim to be helping people in bad situations. If you can even try renting a room somewhere, trust, you're better off, or you'd be waiting a lifetime to get any assistance. No other advice or emergency services that could be provided to those with only a few options. It's sad.

I've called the outreach team 3x in the past few years, to support individuals in need. The staff on that phone line are very respectful, and send their team out just as soon as possible, to offer hydration, food, links to shelter if they wish. No police involvement. Every little action of kindness is worth trying. Kudos to staff and volunteers who truly care!

Doing the best they can, have only had pleasant experiences here so far. People have to remember they are NOT miracle workers, they need more funding you can thank the government for not helping places like this out enough or sometimes at all. Also you need to remember..you have to help yourself too they can't do everything for you, I see to many negative comments on here of ppl who feel entitled prob why they are in the situations their in, in the first place.

Amazing staff,great ppl who truly care..Even to just have someone listen there there for you..outreach team is also very respectful and life saver s and life changers ..Respect is earned and they have earned mine ..stars all the way.

Not very productive or prone to
professional and consistent help or do they contribute to helping people with needs and disability. Run by a group of cheerleaders who pick and choose their favorites rather than treating homelessness with support available. Waisted many sleep spaces everywhere for several years without gaining momentum to helping others who need it.
