We are grateful for all that community living has done for our daughter. We have always had a great experience with every staff we have met. We deal with Sara Wencel on a regular basis and she has been AMAZING. A huge support for our family over these past couple of years.

Rent is cheap that they charge me here, but CLPCW agency is not very good but there are some good staff (only a handful) the rest of them are terrible and management issues are through the roof and crazy ridiculous, they don’t care for their employees at all and treat them like garbage (I’ve seen and heard this firsthand. They lie and take advantage of the individuals they support time and time again… without a care in the world. They don’t care what they do and how they negatively impact the lives of others. They choose time and time again to not adequately support clients and leave them in soiled or sweaty briefs and clothes for days at a time sometimes, pyjamas, not provide care, whether hygiene or otherwise, or feed the clients at times etc.

They have been sneaky and snake like and haven’t liked me one bit (except for the whole lot of money I bring in) and haven’t been nice to me because I’ve advocated for myself and my peers that live within the agency. Be careful-if I knew what they were like I wouldn’t have moved in here. They are a not for profit that only cares about any potential profit - and yes there are very few that work here that care but it’s not many. They don’t care for their employees either, horrible if you ask me - they have so many leaving for other agencies in the same field that actually care (it’s hard for the employees to leave despite the way they are being treated out of fear that their clients here will get even worse from them leaving and less support provided.

Would not recommend this place to anyone-I am just risking my life and time here by providing this review. I’ve been here for a year and 8 months now. I was in the foster system and shelter system, so it’s not just me randomly not liking something and posting a negative review for no reason. This is all lived experience and what I’ve seen first hand and have been scared to post but I’ve seen and experienced too much first hand to not say anything anymore. The public deserves to know what happens behind closed doors at this agency.

The only reason for the 2 stars is because I am still alive, rent is cheap, and the very few amazing staff.
