Me and my family has been to this place for more than a year now, every time we drive by we would find a chance to pull up and take a look. The workers at the checkout would always greet us with the best smile and the most pleasant small talks. I have been there so much I even know this place used to be a bank. Not only is a store 100% dedicated for charity fund, it also is ran entirely by volunteers, who dedicate their times of the day to keep the place running from 10-5. A lot of the workers are senior folks who are really putting their time into this amazing cause of aiding orphans in Africa. Everything is labeled very well, and is especially a great place to hunt for souvenirs and old items for the people who love a great collection. If you have the time, this store is a MUST VISIT!

I popped into the store today to see what it was all about. The store seemed very old and dingy but when I found out that fu da raised from items sold went to orphans in Zambia, my heart opened up. There are some finds in here and prices seemed reasonable. I will look to donate items here in the future but they said always call first to see if they have room or have too many of one item.

Just visited for the first time! So many brand name clothes for very good prices. Others are higher priced but that's not unusual for thrifts these days. I arrived right before closing and was kindly reminded a few times it was closing soon but I wasn't scolded into leaving faster like some thrift stores. Had a lovely chat with the volunteer at the register who knocked off a few $'s for a stain on a shirt. And the best part: a dressing room you're actually allowed to use! Would definitely recommend this spot.

The ladies are super friendly and the staff has been nothing but love and smiles. They have a great kitchen selection. Clothes can be found but need to find them right when they are put out. It is definitely well kept and the prices are all reasonable. Got lucky and found a brand new polo for 6 bucks. Thanks for the great work in the store. God bless!

To review this place you really have to break it into two parts: upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs is great (except shoes). Prices are reasonable, books great. Really upstairs is great. Downstairs 1 star. Whoever prices down there is completely out to lunch. Must be running an eBay store or something and thinks things are worth way more than reality. $400 for a saw $100 for a decades old AC unit He has a bar fridge that’s been in there like 6 months at some bonkers price. TLDR: don’t go downstairs and you will like this place.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Store smells bad, no music, poorly organized, crazy rude volunteers, NOT PET FRIENDLY.

There is a thrift store a block away “Bases Family Thrift Store” good on prices, friendlier, good stuff, organized, and they are a non profit for the community. You can also donate to orphan shelters so you know it’s directly going towards them.

Very rude “workers/volunteers”, I was carrying things to buy, and had my 4lb small quiet dog in a bag on my chest.

I got kicked out and forcibly had the things in my hands taken by one older white blonde/white with short hair. She kicked me out and I explained I didn’t even see a sign and she didn’t care. (The sign outside was falling over and definitely was missable.)

I am actually very upset since my dog has never been kicked out of a thrift store before, or even any normal retail store. I bring her shopping with me all the time whether it’s a mall or a thrift store. She is tiny, always carried and doesn’t bark. Security guards and workers never complain about her and I can confidently say I won’t be coming back unless the animal rule gets lifted. Also will be letting my neighbours and family with and without dogs know not to support this business.

If they really cared about being a non profit they wouldn’t have taken the items from my hands and kicked me out so quickly. The community should be more pet friendly, and it’s appalling that this thrift store is not.
