Very rude staff at this location. We walked in 10 minutes before closing and the staff kept yelling out that the store is closed. 2 of us walked out at 4:55 and the male worker made a monkey face at our backs which our friend who was walking behind us noticed. She did the same gesture back to him and he said “oh that’s my wife I was doing that to”. She said “no, that’s my friend you did that to!” I guess it’s inconvenient to have people show up 10 minutes before closing? Very inhospitable of them. We won’t be returning nor will we ever be donating.

I reqested a price on a futon with matching bench. I was told $60 I even made sure it was for both pieces I was told yes. When it came time to pay, they increased the price to $160. I refused and walked out.

We have shopped at a few REstores In various cities, but this location the prices are what you'll pay for in specialty stores and boutiques in Toronto.

3 stars mainly because of the purpose of Habitat and their good works.

Very miserable, rude, unfriendly staff. They also aren’t very savvy with respect to selling and moving inventory. Artwork is so overpriced it sits for months. There was a reason the artwork was donated… it’s mostly ugly, not Rembrandt.

Great staff and relatively good stock. Prices are quite high... Often, it's cheaper or the same price as retail. No tax though... Huge bonus. Whoever is pricing their stuff should remember we shop there to save money (and help build homes). But mostly for the savings. Try Orillia or Barrie, larger selection and much lower prices.

I was visiting on 26th of August. My review from that day has been deleted. As well that of another gentleman who was appalled of the treatment he received from the employees at this place. Basically, they don't like foreigners. If there is a day when you can negotiate, they would give you hard time over a local. In my case the lady would not even take my bet. Left the place in tears. No humanity there! You will be thoroughly ignored or put down.

Great store , terrific prices, and most of all terrific staff. We shop there at least 2 times a month and always find something we needed for home improvements or beautification. Also, the profits are for a terrific cause. It is neighbours helping neighbours. Also a great way to do renovations without costing a fortune and recycling and helping our environment and the homeless at the same time.

I was visiting this afternoon October 7, 2023 to be exactly the old female who cashed me out was extremely rude.

As I walked towards the cashier desk she simply turned her back towards me. I had to ask her to cash me out as she continued to work on with her back towards me.

After a few minutes she decided to turn around didn’t smile and didn’t acknowledge me in any way. No hi and no bye and no thank you.

It’s the first and last time I will visit this horrible place
