We are truly blessed to have Thompson Community Centre in general for all the active activities. Today, Sara makes it even very special to value and appreciate this Centre. On the phone you will feel how much she loves her job and she is knowledgeable. She made my day by accomodating my request looking for a summer activity for our daughter. We hope, you will recognize her for she is very nice person. Thank you so much Sara for being you, if you can just search my heart. You will see a happy mommy for I found a gem and that's you! Excellent job and way to go. Kudos 👏

Great place for scooter or skateboarding.
Also great for small kids, the playground is very well kept.
Dog friendly place as long as it's leashed at all times.

People seem to be careful in distancing (for the most part).

You can also find stink bugs sometimes.

Thompson Community Center is a nice place for the community. They have child and youth programs, adult activities and support both members and non-members. There is an area to just sit and chill, work a little or have a nice simple lunch. There are sports activities and some bookable rooms for events (Kids Birthday Parties with staff activity centres for under $300.00). Parking is pretty decent with lots of spots. They have bike racks and are on a major bus route. There is a helpdesk but they also have an online presence from the City of Richmond website.

Whenever we come to this community center to go to the games room, they're always having a meeting. It seems like they don't have an office or anything. And when you walk in they just stare at you. Like hello, close the door, or put a sign that says "meeting in progress". When I ask the front if we can go in they say "sure", but there's actually a meeting in progress. It's like they don't tell the front desk anything that's going on. Other than that, overall it's a nice community center.

Great community centre that is convenient for Richmond residents and the staff are very nice. The fitness gym has working machines and there are group classes every Monday to Friday. The kids love this place too.

Nice fitness center with a good range of fitness machines and free weights. I just wish they could expand it in size a bit more so the machines and weights could be spread out some. It gets a little cramped sometimes. I think it's only half the size of some of the other fitness rooms at community centers in Richmond.
