Good luck getting a transfer if you aren't up their a** or if you're three males looking for a three bedroom out of a two bedroom because they don't follow transfer lists, they do what they want and don't care how other people feel or live because of corporate greediness. As long as you're payouts your rent thats all they care about nothing else.

Some things to watch out for:

1) They lie about the knowledge and presence of pests in their buildings, to both tenants and the media.

2) They often fail to thoroughly explain their policies and procedures, and many of them cannot be located unless you ask for them directly. There is very little transparency in their dealings with tenants.

3) Buildings are not maintained equally. Some are well looked after while others are slums.

4) Your lease might say you're in a non-smoking building, but what they fail to tell you up front is that the building is full of 'grandfathered' tenants who hotbox their units, stinking up the entire building.

Know your rights, and get everything in writing.

Was a tenant almost 23 year's. I was a hard working Mom who relocated due to almost dying from an abusive relationship. Fled my hometown, during the pandemic I was spat on by a tenants son who was banned from property. Was suing housing to reasonable enjoyment of my mental well bring bring constantly harrassed by neighbors son who was charged spitting in my face. These housing management companies have no clue. They infringe on the amazing women who try to keep a great neighborhood....while allowing the addict's and riff Raff stay. Left with my head held high and after dropping lawsuit they tried coming after me. They don't want people to find a way out. They want you stuck. Awful service to women who needed them. Mission statement is a laugh

They only act on issues when Barrie Housing is directly impacted. Addelle Baxter is incredibly incompetent. The prefer druggie as they are on ODSP and rent automatically goes to them. I pay full rent,16 years, no respect.

Garbage shoot destruction, laundry room, staircase, all these areas are destroyed with no reprimand given to tenants - reprimand period on tenants actions against lease.

Mill Creek premises requires upkeep and clean-up. Garbage everywhere. Large Bins over flowing with rotting garbage. Air is foul. Utterly disgusting. Shameful. Clean it up. People do not deserve to live like that.

Really need to start enforcement of no smoking policy. People smoking non stop on balconies, causing other units to reek of ciggarrettes. Shouldn't have to wait untill another one burns down to rectify this problem.
