I haven't been here since before COVID and it is nice to see the street repairs are done and the main street seems to be bustling and re-generated.
New and refurbished restaurants (THE LOCAL, CANVAS BREWERY & THE ORIGINAL 1858 CAESAR BAR) and walkable sidewalks make a visit enjoyable!!!

Everyone is happy about the road closures going on around Main and Brunel. One resident was swearing at a construction worker holding up a stop sign because she wouldnt let him through even though he resided in that street. Its like going through a couple of checkpoints with military staff manning the traffic. Fun times!

Beautiful town. Have visited a lot. Too disappointed city has no public chargers for electric cars. Even Tim Horton's and public garages have multiple ones in other cities. Our trips will be even more frequent and enjoyable if there were some public chargers. Talk to Tim Horton, Walmart or other prominent local restaurants. They may be interested. Beautiful downtown. Water front with beautiful dock.

Staff knew their work, scope, and assisted in instructions to access information on properties; showing problems listed below. Thanked them for that. Performance of external town services are the questions: Road complaints not addressed to satisfactory standard; commercial road built on a subdivision lot without approval/paperwork & broken town/district subdivision rules, c/os' lodged of building without regulatory building permit. This is happening with what appears to be complicity with district/town's silence? Even the OLT has disappeared on these issues? Well Ontario is known for producing world famous skaters but in the sport of hockey, not this. Wonder how other municipalities are doing?

A Nice town surrounded by lake. A perfect getaway from city rush n madness. People are welcoming. Pet friendly restaurants n shops are available.
