Ancaster Old Town Hall - Ancaster, Ontario

Now an event venue, but before that this was the Ancaster Town Hall. It was built in 1870 and is a beautiful structure. Stone architecture and arched windows, it has undergone a number of renovations. It still feels "classic" to me. There are plaques on the front listing the names of those who fought for Canada in various conflicts.

It was the center of local politics for several decades, and also various exhibitions, such as the travelling Edison "magic phonograph" demonstration in 1878. I did not have an opportunity to tour the interior today.

A beautiful garden in the back complete with gazebo. There is a small parking lot. This is next to the playground which was fully occupied today!

Amazing time for a bridal shower! One of your team members for the City of Hamilton, by the name of Sarah, was able to assist one of us with our cellphones dealing with a hacker! Thank you, Sarah, for making a scary moment get semi resolved!!! Thank you again, Sarah! You Rock!!!

A very clean venue great parking. This hall has a small hall good for events for about 90 people you would have to cater your food in they have a great very clean kitchen with a microwave and two warming ovens and a commercial large refrigerator and a small freezer great counter space and sinks on both sides. A small hall with high open ceilings very pretty location.

The most beautiful place to get married and they allowed us to make the night however we wanted, which for us was ordering pizza to the venue which they allowed! Amazing location, I highly recommend it!

We had an amazing time working with Ancaster Old Town Hall to host a baby shower this weekend! The staff were extremely communicative and provided answers to all our questions. The space is beautiful and comfortable fit our crowd of 65. There was ample parking out back as well! Thank you for hosting us 🙂

I attended a baby shower tea here recently. I had never been here before and Google Maps gave me incorrect directions to the parking entry, twice so that was quite frustrating. The space itself is quite lovely. The kitchen is a bit odd in terms of setup but so long as you're bringing in whatever you are serving it's fine. Bathrooms are nicely kept. I was going to say it's a small space but then I just mentally counted the tables and there were 10 tables of 6 set up and all full so it handled 60 people with ease. The stage is quite small. Could not handle a band unless the band was small. There's a good amount of parking.

At the end of the event I turned on Pokemon Go and there's a gym right there, and quite a few stops within easy walking distance. Good amount of spawns as well.

The girl who works on Saturday is very easy to deal with when booking events. She's professional and kind. Cute spot as well in the heart of Ancaster.
