During a big thaw and rain storm (early March ) we had water coming into our basement due to a crack in the foundation. Tom was at our house in a day to assess what needed to be done and sent a team two days later even though they were booked solid. Colin and his son repaired our foundation in a couple hours and we've had no trouble since. Everyone at Basement Specialist are friendly, professional and very skilled in what they do. We highly recommend them.

Having just moved to Dundas and since the previous owners had used The Basement Specialist to do a bit of work on sealing the foundation and it looked good, we decided to to call them to do 3 sides of the house prior to doing extensive landscaping.

Tom Mildren came and gave us a quote which seemed reasonable and gave us a tentative start date. We added some other work to the job and he and his crew added them to the mix without issue.

The crew lead, Colin, was knowledgeable and friendly. He made useful suggestions. There was continuously good communication between us and Tom and Colin, so that we were all aware of what was happening and what was coming next.

Like many construction projects, it got bigger and things took longer than we all expected but we weren't overly concerned as the landscapers had pushed their start date back.

Overall we were very satisfied with the work, and we would happily recommend the Basement Specialist.

We had Tom and his crew underpin our sinking foundation as well as convert a crawlspace into a useable room a year ago. Although the job took much longer then expected (4 months instead of one) it wasn't all their issue. Bottom line is they did an excellent job and were absolutely great to work with.
